Haybrook estate agents - who's dealt with them?
Highlander04 replied to uncle.albert's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
Does the authorization have to be in writing, or could they say that they had verbal authorisation to take the fee? -

I do think that anyone taking funds from an account must get permission to do so before taking them. This is even if they previously used your card details. Of course they can still chase you for any fee's they feel are due. -
Hi all, I am thinking of starting up a Property Networking Event in Sheffield again. We had one operating a few years ago and it went very well, but work commitments meant that we could not keep it going. I was thinking of having one every quarter and was wondering if people would be interested. The idea is to have guest speakers that are not there to sell anything. As an example we had Clive Betts MP at one of our events. If your possibly interested in a event like this, please drop me a line with contact details. If you would like to let me know what type of speakers you would like, That would help as well. My email address is [email protected] Thanks

MEGATHREAD:- Recommended Lettings Agents
Highlander04 replied to smoothtalker's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
Hi there my name is Ian from IS Property, we are a sales and lettings agency based in Sheffield. We have been operating for 2 years now and have been building our portfolio at a good rate. I would like to think we are good at our job, our main thing is providing a good quality of customer service to both our tenants and landlords. From my experience when things go wrong as they sometimes do, its a matter of communication. If people don't know what's happening then they get frustrated. After all customers pay good money to have properties looked after and if your paying for a service that service should be provided. -

Hi Biddo, I part own IS Property and would be grateful of any feedback on our service, so if you have heard that we did not provide the best service possible please let me know. In the current market conditions its important to us that we get feed back, be it positive or negative. Regards Ian 01142695719 -
Where to get a Landlord EPC from?
Highlander04 replied to Skatiechik's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
We have been using John Furniss for all our EPC's a few years now. He has been reliable, cost effective, and on time with all our clients. IS Property. -
I was under the impression that it was against the solicitors rules to pay or receive commission payments. Also it can be very dangerous to offer recommendations because if it goes pear shaped the person that recommends will get the blame. We all have preferred solicitors, as you build a working relationship with them which is great. But to expect a fee just adds to the vendors costs. IS Property.
