  1. Thank you for letting me know, i can ramble on a bit sometimes really sorry for that, yeah he is currently somewhere being assessed. He is currently under the care of S.H.A.R.E Rescue (siberian husky aid rescue & education) but hes definatly more gsd than husky. That is why we are looking for a breed specific rescue (GSD) who know the breed etc as we are a Husky rescue if that makes any sense, that may be able to help him. He has just been neutered at the rehab center aswell.
  2. does anyone have a link to john rogerson please?
  3. Harley came in to S.H.A.R.E Rescue from a PTS pound, hes a young boy with issues, hes bitten his fosterers and is currently in a rehab/assessment facility. He only has 2 weeks left there. The only problem is hes more GSD than Husky so we need a GSD rescue or a dog behaviorist to take him on and try and help the poor boy, we have already tried some gsd rescues but its gone nowhere or they are full. Can anyone offer any help for this boy??????
  4. find us at http://www.sharerescue.co.uk still looking for foster homes
  5. We are a husky rescue if we had the room we would supply/stock it as we use and recommend csj for our rescue dogs, we also have to travel a long way to collect it
  6. Small rescues really struggle tbh from what we have learned so far, we cannot get neuter vouchers etc so we will have to pay full vet price,(ive begged for a discount) This along with jabs and microchipping will cancel out any adoption fee, so we will be paying for lots and lots eg vets fees and feeding, worming and fleas, equipment needed and fuel costs for transport, out of our own pocket. Positivity and strength of mind are the only thing keeping us going at present lol! Upon speaking to people, we have been told that claiming Charity Status is an important part of setting up our charity, but we only meet 2 out of 3 of the criteria needed.... Getting Charity Status is not that important to us, the welfare of the dogs is all we are concerned about and we will manage , one way or another Claire & Louise @ S.H.A.R.E any advice is always welcome xxxx
  7. Hi when i was trying to stop breastfeeding i first of all cut out the day feeds and gave him full fat cows milk in place of and still fed him at night time for another 6months (by choice) and then 1 night he fell asleep without a feed and that was that it kind of all fell in to place without trying. Good Luck with it all Louise
  8. Thanks Krush i will get on to it. Moonbird we currently have 1 girl in foster 18mths old and another 1 coming in today a boy 11mths old going straight to his foster home. Louise @ S.H.A.R.E
  9. [email protected] or http://www.facebook.com/messages/602937520#!/groups/sharerescuedogs/ Moonbird I will get on to that for you i just want to write it up properly first,
  10. We are in sheffield but have volunteers all around UK, were just sorting out our charity status as we are a new rescue but the rescue dogs will be in homechecked foster homes not kennels. Louise @ S.H.A.R.E
  11. Hi Ruffles & LadyB We are based in Sheffield but we have helpers and volunteers all over the country. As for our policies we intend to neuter, microchip and inoculate our dogs before they are rehomed, and potential foster/adoption homes will have to be home checked before we let the dog go to them. Yes we are noticing that sibes are becoming status doggies and most people dont have a clue what there getting into they are completely different to your average dogs please follow the link http://www.facebook.com/messages/602937520#!/groups/sharerescuedogs/ or email us [email protected] Thanks Louise @ S.H.A.R.E
