  1. Hooray! Died it light brown and after an excruciating 30 minutes I now have brown hair... There is a remote touch of orange but at least noone can call me a carrot! Thanks too for the purple-y black dye advice I'll wait for a few weeks before doing that one! Cheers everyone for your help and wisdom - I hope someone else might be able to benifit from this thread too - It must happen quite a bit eh!? For now... Bluestar, over and out! Enjoy your summer's! xxx
  2. You are all super stars! Thank you all so so much for your advice - you have no idea how much I appreciate it! I am going back to the bathroom to dye my hair a sophisticated shade of violet black. I don't wanna risk the bleach again...without a hairdresser at hand! Hopefully it will work okay - I'll let you know after the deed has been done... Thank you all so much, Lots of hugs from (currently) carrotstar xxxx
  3. And yea J-blaze. I do have pics and you can have a good laugh but I've not uploaded them yet and am not planning to - ever...
  4. I don't mind going back to brown - I've got some lovely violet black that I wouldn't mind using but it says don't use straight after bleaching... Do you think it would go a funny colour (funnier than orange???) or do you think it would just completely ruin the quality of my hair... Im' so confused!!! Moreover, I don't have any more bleach to try going even blonder... Thanks though xxx
  5. I dyed my hair yesterday from brown to "blonde". ie. I bleached it and it went horribly wrong. My natural roots have gone blonde and my dyed brown hair has gone orange. I have tried to hunt down a hair dye to cover it again but they all say "Do not use for 15 days after lightening or bleaching your hair". I was wondering if anyone knew why this is and if I could just do it anyway. If not, what other ideas can people recommend?? Please help Im going on holiday in five hours and I have no idea what to do so that I dont look like a carrot!!! blue xx
  6. thanks people, that helps a lot. goes to show that tenants can't make up their own legal proceedings..ha!
  7. Could anyone tell me what the legalities are at the close of a contract? On the last day, or close of the contract, I have been told that, legally, it is correct to swap the residents' keys for the deposit they payed. If the tenant has not payed bills, spent an extra night in the property and caused damage to some furnitures then where is the legal standing of the landlord? Furthermore, if the tenant then pays the bills and requests the deposit back, how much time does the owner of the property have until they are legally required to return the deposit? I was under the impression that this was a couple of weeks or even up to a month as this is the amount of time I have waited in the past for deposit returns, however, I would be very greatful for anyone who could shed some light on the situation. Cheers, Bluestar
