  6. I would definitely recommend Sheffield Shotokan Karate Club. I started there as a beginner at 41 and my husband at 43. Great friendly club with fantastic instructors, all of whom have had dbs checks, are trained in first aid and hold nationally recognised coaching awards. They have classes every Thursdays at Wadsley Church, Worrall Road, Sheffield at 730pm til 9pm and also on Mondays at Westways Primary School, Western Avenue, Crookes, Sheffield 7pm til 830pm.   7. Sheffield Shotokan Karate Club is opening a new venue Thursday 5th March at Wadsley Parish Church Hall, Worrall Road, Hillsborough, Sheffield S6 4BB 7.30pm until 9pm. Come along and join us. Its a great way to keeping fit whilst learning valuable self defence techniques. Everyone welcome from beginners up to Dan Grades. This session will run every Thursday.   13. I attended this lesson and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sensei Bob Hague is a true professional and his methods of teaching are second to none. Would recommend this club with no hesitation. Your made to feel welcome and part of the club, everyone there are so friendly and always willing to help. Looking forward to next session. Its ony £5 and they have a discounted rate of £3 for students with a valid unicard.
