  11. From Hip-Hop to Folk, and everything in between, there is literally an offering for all tastes this Summer at OakStock at The British Oak in Mosborough. Bring friends and family on July 4th for free from lunchtime and enjoy children's entertainment, Ten hours of live music, a Hog Roast, BBQ and Stone-baked Pizzas. Serving award winning pies, an extensive range of craft beers from across the globe, guest ales on tap and sourcing as much of its produce locally as possible, it should come as no surprise that The British Oak selected ten local bands to play at Oakstock. Performing on an outdoor stage this years Oakstock hopes to play host to thousands, with a line-up including Ginger Tom, Sam Scherdel, Jack's Rake, Soapstone Dragon, Mat Wale and Friends, The Lost art, Spit and Strings, The Beat Bandit, The Velcro Teddy Bears and with Headline band Big Shambles (featuring Nick Banks from Pulp) “We all know someone locally who has been affected by cancer” said General Manager Hannah Beddow. “We always love to show off our beautiful venue, especially for a great cause. We are so excited to be doing our part and to showcase our brilliant local talent”. Previous events have raised ÂŁ1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and organisers Forum CafĂ© Bars hope the community of Mosborough will be able to achieve this figure for Oakstock. To find out more about OakStock or to win a VIP package sponsored by Budweiser, Stoli and Brugal you can visit http://www.britishoakalehouse.co.uk/whatson/oakstock, like the Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/britishoakalehousesheffield or tweet using the hashtag #Oakstock at https://twitter.com/BritishOakShef For more information, interviews and photography please contact Carly Honeycombe of Forum CafĂ© Bars Ltd on 0114 2808 230 or [email protected]
