  1. Sheffield bands played, as in the recordings. Though there will be some good Sheffield bands playing live too. This Friday 26th October, LIMITed is proud to present: THE SEQUINS (http://www.myspace.com/thesequinsspace) STEPHEN SINGLETON (Ex-ABC) DJ SET ABC and Vice Versa's Stephen Singleton plays his favourite tunes EMILY WALKER (http://www.myspace.com/emilywalkertunes) LIMITed DJs playing the best of Sheffield and beyond til 1am. http://www.myspace.com/limited_sheffield
  2. No Artery Im afraid, but a DJ set from Long Blondes. The Chapman Family are on first followed by DJs. There will be a lot of Sheffield bands played as thats the point of the night, but lots of other good music too.
  3. Thats not really the point Im trying to make, as Im talking about the wider picture. As I say, getting off the point.
  4. Possibly, but things like that can alienate the youth and make them think 'Well if Im gonna get accused of misbehaving, I may just do it. Though we may be getting off the point a little.
  5. Yes, but I was making a point that adults tend to be to blame for atrocities rather than kids/teenagers yet people always jump to the conclusion that its kids when such things happen.
  6. The initial posts blamed kids. Where is the bit about a dog and 2 men?
  7. I agree with most sentiments on this. It is one of the most horrific things I have heard, as these animals had no way of defending themselves. However, I do worry that people seemed to be pointing the finger at kids with no evidence. Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Pol Pot, Mao, etc were all adults.
  8. Not keen on Devonshire Chippy, think its gone downhill a bit in recent years. In my opinion the best chippy in Sheffield is Stans in Intake or Tonys in Mosborough (not in town I know)
  9. It cant be healthy can it. Dogs need stability.
  10. What do people think about the company that are going to rent out dogs for a yearly subscription fee? I saw something about it on BBC breakfast news.
  11. I dont think we sound like Bloc Party, but as Gerry says, its best to make your own mind. If anyone would like to have a hard copy of the depot you can PM me with your address and Ill send it to you for free. Otherwise email [email protected]
  12. If youre at a loose end on Friday, Letters and Colours are on at the Grapes. I can let you have a free demo if you want (PM me). Influences include Cure, Pulp, Joy Division, Velvet Underground.
  13. Yes, my band (letters and colours) played there a couple of weeks ago. The place was packed for the bands, but then quietened down. The music was good, but it was a bit too quiet. Hopefully it will pick up soon. Definitely worth checking out.
  14. i.e. its shut. letters and colours at the leadmill 7.20pm £7 entry. Also playing: Leaves and The Fallout Trust. shameless.com
