  1. Well aren't you big!!! Bet you couldn't smash yourself in never mind anyone else:rant:
  2. Why pay anything when ours was free including scaffolding. Convertor was done before so as soon as panels were done free electricity saving the £173 you paid and was fitted really quick
  3. A shade greener don't have no stricken criteria so don't know where you have heard that from. It went through great for me everyone helpful and quick and free
  4. You should go with A Shade Greener at tankersley Barnsley you really do get free solar panels you don't pay a penny. They even pay for any strengthening and scaffolding etc. Great company and would recommend them to anyone as like I say it is all FREE! All you have to do is apply online :-)
  5. Definitely did the right thing. I would like to think if I was ever in that's situation (which hopefully I never will be) that someone would help me. You really are a decent guy and should be proud of what you did regardless of the outcome :-)
  6. I have a 6 year old tortoise for sale. Comes with birth certificate and enclosure which includes lights. Unfortunately we have just got a dog and kids are no longer bothered about the tortoise. We are therefore looking for a new loving home for it. We are wanting £120 for it. If interested please telephone 07990590601 and ask for Stewart.
  7. She is very grown up for her age and would not do anything silly I am 100% sure I can trust her to get to school. It's just worry on my part.
  8. There is only one main road which is the one outside school but there is a lollypop lady outside everyday
  9. The route is fine she has walked it many a time with me before so knows where to go and the roads to cross :-)
  10. Thanks for all your comments. There will be loads of other kids and parents walking the same route. I like the idea of dropping her at her friends then going and parking at school for the first few days to make sure she gets there.
  11. That was my original plan to allow her to walk in y6 but all her friends now seem to be walking. Me and her friends mum are just really unsure what to do. I think while ever I can drop her off I will
  12. I know what you mean and I do see other kids in her year walking a lot further and we live in a good area, but to me she is still my little girl but don't want to wrap her in cotton wool forever!
  13. I don't think I will ever feel right. My own opinion is I have to go out anyway to go to work so feel better knowing that I have dropped her safely at school. I think I will only worry all day if inlet her walk.
  14. No I will be dropping her in the car. I normally drop her at school on my way to work but instead would drop her at her friends then go to work :-)
  15. I have a little girl who is 9 (10 in a few months) who is wanting to walk to school with one of her pals. I won't let her walk all the way as I think it's too far but am thinking of dropping her at her pals house and letting them walk from their, as it's only round the corner. Am really not happy about doing this but know I have got to loosen the apron strings at some point! Anyone got any advice?
