Why are Utd. borrowing young, inexperienced players?
byeo replied to despritdan's topic in Sheffield Football
Because we can't borrow seasoned experienced players from PL clubs. -
But Coke isn't seasonal or we wouldn't be able to buy it and the "Holidays are coming" advert is seasonal, if that's too hard to figure out then let's just leave this here, love.
-
Coke "invented" the red Santa image and they bring out the Coke truck in the lead up to Christmas on the back of their "Holidays are coming" advert back in the 90's (I think) but Coke is not seasonal as it's sold all year round, thus, why do you moan that the truck is out when you, me and everyone else is able to buy a can 365 days a year ? People don't see it as a "privilege", coke and non coke drinkers see the truck and it reminds them of the adverts. It makes them happy, if you don't like it then you know what to do. Feel free to create a healthy drink which kids enjoy and market it enough that you can use a truck at Christmas to sell more of the drink.

They give their product away free when you visit the truck. You don't have to spend a penny...

Not feeling this game tbh. We need to get back to winning ways but I feel another draw is on the cards which will continue our sticky patch.

I'd be more worried about Bramall Lane if I was in charge at the council.

Would You Ever Change The Team You Support
byeo replied to Sheridan1-0's topic in Sheffield Football
If for whatever reason I couldn’t support the Blades anymore then I think I would really struggle to follow anyone else. If I really had to then I think Sheffield FC could be an option but again, worlds oldest club or not, they’re not Sheffield United F.C. I’d still watch football highlights or games on the tv. -
Tougher than we think, Clough will want to put one over us... again. 1-1.
-
Not a bad time to start following Sheffield’s best.

Totally agree on the Moore front, I feel much more relaxed with him in the net. Hopefully he can perform well and keep his place in the squad. I'm sure he's been itching for a start since his recovery.
-
"Jump straight back up"... he actually landed awkwardly and turned around on his knees then went back down. My guess is the shock of the fall delayed the pain but I could be wrong. Paul Watson and Chris Wilder will know if he's faking it.
-
Can't believe some are suggesting Jamal stayed down through embarrassment, it was a really awkward fall. Hope he makes a quick recovery but Simon Moore really needs to take this chance and run with it, Hull are joint leaders in goals scored but that means nothing when you let in 27. I don't think it'll be as easy as you make out but I hope you're right. A couple of clean sheets wouldn't be bad.

Would take a draw right now, we're due one, 2-2.
-
Why is he not playing for you lot ?
-
Dont want him, if he’s not good enough for wednesday he certainly isn’t good enough for the Blades.
-
Good win but we really should be taking our chances, Billy could’ve had a hat trick in the first half yet we went in at 1-1. Against a better team we might not have come back. Mr Wilder with a masterstroke putting Brooks on. 2-1 and top of the league. Our bubble may or may not burst but one thing is certain, no-one predicted this. UTB

ÂŁ49 and three months late, bargain. But, fair play to Tuna man if he can get fools to part with that much after a delay.

Always enjoy reading "Roys view", the comments from the opposition fans can be very entertaining at time.

It’s hard not to when it’s a Sheffield double. UTB

Really ? I'm sure I drove past some when I went on Saturday...

I found things in a slightly different order but overall signs are there to help you and they even have staff who will point you in the right direction too...

Too busy thinking about what they was going to post in here I’m afraid...

Went yesterday at around 1pm, was turned away due to the car park been full. Went back at 5pm and it was still busy but managed to get a parking spot after about 5 mins of driving around. Don’t know what else to say really, it’s an Ikea store, what you see is what you get. Did see a new sofa I’d like, ended up buying a new chest of drawers. Was tempted to buy a hotdog from the cafe but it was rammed. Hope it does well, as an Ikea store has been long overdue. I’m not convinced the road “improvements”will suffice, though. Yesterday it was very busy, Christmas will be fun... Two lanes from the M1 towards the city with Meadowhall, Ikea, the retail park and Fly DSA Arena make this area a choke point.

International break.. is it good or bad?
byeo replied to Robbie Loving's topic in Sheffield Football
In the Blades situation it’s a good thing. Given Billy another week or so to get back to full fitness and the rest of the lads to shake off any niggles they may have. As for the actual England team, I struggle to watch them, they bore me to death and usually end up turning it off at half time.
