I remember going with my dad on the coach from the Cross Keys (I think) in Wath, was 6 years old at the time and remember very little. Although I do remember a huge Blades flag going over us just as the teams walked out and Cork's goal. I have zero recollection of extra time but why would I want to remember that?

What about pedestrianising the wicker

I like the idea but where would all the buses and taxis go if the Wicker was closed off to them? -
Taken from another forum here are a few key points. - The football club still jointly owned, opportunity to transfer to HRH in Feb was not taken forward and it is now in litigation. - To do with personalities and lack of understanding on how to run the club. “I think McCabe and the HRH have disagreed on quite a few things but he’s being diplomatic”. - McCabe stressing must maintain the culture and heritage and not call fans customers. - Relationship with the sheikh seems very strained, they talk but not much (McCabes own words) he thinks they will have a face to face sit down soon and sort out their differences. - The dispute is about the property valuation & the Prince started the litigation. - The takeover is a big if and not a when. - Owners hope to sort out differences before next seasons preparations. - McCabe and wilder think the way back to the premier league is to stick with British and Irish players and not go international, HRH disagrees. - HRH hasn’t generated any sponsors which is a disappointment think he promised to bring a few in. - McCabe summing up....his task is to get the sheikh to understand Sheffield United.

How far do you think someone should walk to work in situations like this?
-
I just think Wilder is bored of this takeover rubbish, he wants assurances from whoever owns the club that in the summer he'll have funds made available to improve the squad who (as Wilder stated) isn't good enough to make the play-offs. I really don't think Wilder is ready to walk, I think just like every other Unitedite, he's fed up and wants an answer one way or another. Maybe come the summer transfer window if Wilder is not backed as much as he feels is required and results don't go our way he'll reconsider his position. He knows he would be backed by the Blades fans if he walked after a poor transfer kitty. There is a shareholder meeting on Saturday at the Copthorne, letters have been sent out to everyone inviting them to attend where McCabes son's will be in attendance to give some sort of an update on the MccCabe side of the takeover. So until then there is not much more to be said.

Can't see us getting much but it would be nice if we give Leicester a decent game and even better if we managed to get a result. Not the end of the world if we get knocked out. I can imagine it'll be a mixed bag of emotions if big Harry plays, though.
-
Not looking forward to this if I'm honest but that's usually when the Blades produce the goods. I'll take a 0-0 win right now.

Was right outside a friend of my mum's house. Said she didn't even know about it until her daughter called her to ask why all the Police were outside. She heard the gun shots but thought it was fireworks

We don't have players who can beat the opposition or who are too afraid to beat their man. Thus, we go down the wing and instead of crossing we pass back then over the other side, rinse and repeat. I think it's Wilders way of telling some fans that we're punching above our weight, we've got a L1 budget, Villa have a lower end PL/high end Championship budget.

Disappointed with the result last night but if you don't score a single goal in three home games (league) you know something is not right. Snodgrass finished well but I'm annoyed we let him go on to his left foot. Oh well, Wolves next...

We've still got a half decent chance of a play off spot. Some people will enjoy the tie, the majority won't, I suspect. I just hope it doesn't drag out and go to a replay.
-
Because like every other club in the competition, you want a team like Chelsea, Man Utd or Man City. A big gate and a very good chance you'll be on t.v. Alas, we get Leicester City, PL winners* yet not a huge draw. Reading another forum it appears my views are that of a high percentage, too. *15/16 Season Champions

Boring draw but did have a feeling we’d get Coventry.

Wilder has earmarked who he wants to go out on loan, Ched is not on that list. Is he up to the mark? Well, he's not really had a proper crack at it, he can contribute to the squad but I think we've already seen the best of Ched in a Blades shirt...

Word is a few bids have been put in for Billy boy, one been from Hull City, not surprised with the Adkins link. Although he’s currently out of favour at the moment I’d be surprised to see him go.
-
Well done Blades, nice to see Wilder pointing to his watch after the game ended karma is a bugger. Sorry Delia.

I thought the Chinese were around the Bramall Lane area of town ? -
Don't blame him, we make decent players out of those who did time at hillsborough.

Sheffield United 5 Sheffield Wednesday 0 (January 2018)

I’d love for it to be 5-0 but I think it’ll be a draw -
Does anyone know of a new pool hall which has opened up in town. I've no idea where, it's just what I've been told. It's suppose to be Chinese owned, too. Would like to know where about if possible, thanks.

I’m not getting into the brickering about whether it was a red or not, missed bits the game due to been out in a Xmas meal but when you go in with both feet off the ground you run the risk of getting sent off. Now we’ve lost Fleck for three games. Disappointed to lose as we hit the woodwork four times but that’s the way a game can go. Bubble burst ? I wouldn’t say so, it’s just a bad patch we’re going through, Wilder locked the lads in the dressing room after Millwall wanting a response and he got one. The result wasn’t what we wanted but we played much better then the past few games. Well done to Leon on bagging POTM and another goal on the season.

Now , now kids, let's not get another thread closed.

A tough game tonight, we've been pretty average the past few games, hope we can get a result to "steady the ship". Another loss and you'll get some moaning even though we're already overachieving this season. I'd like to see Moore back in the net, too tonight. 2-2
