  1. Hello, I'm a native teacher. If you are still interested in learning Spanish, please send me a PM and I'll do my best to help you. Regards.
  2. I'm starting Environmental Science at Hallam in September and I would like to know more about the course. In the beginning it's going to be hard, because I'm an international, mature student. That's why I want to put all my efforts to make the adaptation period as short as possible. I have been reading related books and magazines for a long time, so now I'm ready (and anxious) to start reading the course materials... but I can't find them If anyone could please help me it would be great. Anyway, if you want more info about me, shoot me your questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
  3. Train tickets there are very expensive (or here very cheap). You can see the difference comparing prices on renfe and nationalrail websites. I don't know how are exactly low life chavs, but maybe you didn't have the opportunity of meeting "canis de sevilla" when you were in Andalucia. Very interesting people for zoologists.
  4. I'm not a troll. If you know how to prove it without putting my privacy at risk, let me know. Mods will know (or already know) that I'm Spanish. Anyway, is this kind of question really strange from your point of view when I'm thinking about moving to a city that I know only by google maps?
  5. Public transport is quite expensive there, it's true. But I need more examples to see Spain "streets ahead of the UK". How about cycling in Sheffield?
  6. Ha ha, thank you all! I'm studying hard to improve my English before going there, but it's still poor. Maybe if you could listen how I speak, you'd change your mind about my level. I know that weather, meal times and manners are different than what I'm used, but I'll try to addapt myself asap.
  7. I'm a Spanish guy looking for a good place to work and study in England and for the moment, Sheffield is heading the list of cities which could be a good place to live. I've researched and it seems that rental prices aren't very expensive, unemployment rates are low and the student life should be great with two universities. I also like the idea of living in one of the greenest cities of England. Now I'd like to know bad things about Sheffield because so much perfection make me suspect Thank you in advance!
