Selective Landlord licensing- Firvale & Page Hall
mrsnmrsf replied to last warrior's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
Yes I live next door but 1 and their landlord lets 3 or 4 families stay there which is about 9 adults and 7 kids. Says he's not bothered as long as he gets his rent. They are drunk nearly everyday and night they fight in the street and they drink and drive they have been reported several times but police do absolutely nothing. So what's the point. -
My neighbour saw it over S4 around 10 o'clock

I saw these signs approx 9.30 but they had been taken down by 12ish. They were quite amusing, hope they did the trick. Well done to whoever. -
Decline of Sheffield Star and Telegraph
mrsnmrsf replied to Wardsbitter's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
With part of Sheffield being multicultural, people can't speak English never mind read it and to be honest The Star does not make it easy with it's bad spelling :loopy: -
Just wondering if anyone has tried the Mantis Pen. Ive bought one today to try on my car (when the weather improves!) Ive looked for reviews but have not really found many. Thanks

Sheffield Kitchen Outlet. They have their own fitters and electrians and we had no problems at all. Their prices are brilliant and I really do reccommend you go and take a look. Ask for Stuart, he is the owner. The fitter we had is called Grant Smith. He is really good and was 100% happy with our purchase.

I had Lasik (by computer) surgery done at Optical Express in Meadowhall 3 years ago. The price was £1.495 per eye. I got a discount of 10% so I paid £2.700. I know it is a lot of money but it is well worth the money. After surgery all your future eye care is free so no more eye tests to pay for and if you need any further surgery you don't pay again. Unfortunately this did happen to me. I had to return 6 months after my initial surgery as my sight deteriorated but due to only being able to have Lasik once I had to have Laser which is much more uncomfortable and I said after that if I had, had Laser the first time I would'nt have had it done a second time.

mrsnmrsf replied to spiritangel1's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I too am one of the carers that have won our fight today for equal pay. I have been caring for nearly 24 years. Just wondering if I was love rat or go4it's mum would they be against me getting a pay award or be rubbing their hands together wondering what they are going to get for Christmas this year? -
New Asda at Parson Cross - Megathread
mrsnmrsf replied to Taximark's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Why is it the morrisons supermarket at hillsborough have the freezers at the entrance of the store. Has no one realised yet that it makes sense for it to be the last items we want to get in our trolleys. I always go back to them just before I go to the checkout. Lets see if the new asda gets it right. -
