Was going to west one complex and had to stop off at tesco express on west street.

Just thought i'd update everyone - Went to the police station last week and they phoned back saying the council had cctv evidence of the cab registration plate and cab number, They also said I was allover the place , I think they are going to be in touch with the council to get his details and go have a word with the dodgy cabbie.

I was and he wouldn't let me out of the taxi until I had handed it over.

No reg plate or cab number - but the guy stopped right outside a cctv camera by players bar for 5 mins, plus we came up west street rather than coming on to it via a side street. Spoke to council this morning and they state that the hate this kind of behaviour and once found he will be charged licensed lost.

Yep it's true, Probably the driver thought I was that drunk that I wouldn't remember anything of the way home, But I hope he just forgot to give it me and is handing it in...

So most the taxi guy has got is an i-phone he cannot use and the loss of his license when the police get his reg number, he drove from the bottom of west street all the way up to tesco so the camera's have to have him

Had the phone blocked before I used the find my phone function, didn't know that it rendered it useless

Phoned up the police and they stated he had 24 hours to hand it in to snig hill police station, all taxis have to apparently. left it unit today until reporting it stolen.

black cab - had flagged him down on penistone road by the peugeot dealership.

I had my iphone taken as collateral while I went to the cash point on West Street by the tesco express on Saturday night around 10pm. I was intoxicated so naturally I handed it over, when I got back to the taxi and handed the guy £10 (the fare was less), He then took off without giving me the phone back!!! Luckily for me I wasn't as intoxicated as he thought and I have already blocked the phone, contacted the police and reported it stolen, I do have find my phone installed and everything bar the photos are backed-up:( He did pull up in front of the CCTV area by westfield terrace so thats a bonus as they are going to check the footage. Probably only a matter of time before the police catch him and he loses his license, Is there anything else I can do, or do I just wait?
