  1. Hello, Apologies in advance if i'm posting this in the wrong section! We are in need of a tiler who is available to start ideally in the next week. We have two jobs that we would like completing - tiling the kitchen which is about 3m surface area in total, and levelling and tiling the hallway floor. Many Thanks, Anna

  3. Does anyone know of any jumble sales coming up? Thanks!
  4. I recently bought a 1930s red brick ex council house in Greenhill. There are a number of original features such as a cast iron fireplace in the master bedroom and we recently discovered some red quarry tiles beneath the carpet in the hallway. The fireplace in the living room has been replaced by a gas fire with a teak looking surround. I was hoping that there might be some remainder of the original fireplace behind it when we remove it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the fireplace would have originally been like? Are there are any other original features that you have discovered?
  5. I went Boxercise class at Pure Gym last Saturday and it was not at all what I had expected. It was more like circuit training with six different bases and 30 seconds of various exercises eg. push ups, sit ups, planking etc. We did this nonstop for 45 minutes which I found really difficult but thankfully I didn't seem to be the only one struggling! I am now a bit reluctant to go to another class as I am worried I about them being equally hard. Has anyone else been to any of the other classes? Are there any you would recommend?
  6. Hi, I am in the same position. I am a total beginner but I had my first surfing lesson at Cayton Bay a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I can't drive so it makes it quite difficult to get to. I would definitely be interested in organising some trips, the wetsuit and board hire from Cayton Bay is fairly cheap, or it's £30 for a 2 1/2 hour lesson.
