  1. According to the the light cinema website: "Opening in Q2 2016, a new 9 screen, all digital cinema for the city centre Part of the phase 2 development of The Moor by Scottish Widows Investment Property Partnership Trust"
  2. I would go to the next Sheffield Bee Keepers Asssociation meeting which is next Wednesday at the Nether Edge Club, 2 Moncriffe Road, S7 1HR at 7pm. Lots of friendly knowledgable people who will be able to help. There were a number of swarms looking for homes last month. Swarming season is mostly over now.
  3. OK: I suggest a written complaint to the practice manager Make it factual and not personal and it will more likely be received well and acted upon.
  4. Are you sure they are fog lights. Skoda's have lights under the headlights that are designed to be on day and night, they are called Fog Lights in promotional material but are there to illuminate around corners, for example the left light will illuminate only when turning left so as to see around the corner.
  5. I met the same guy. He stated that he is a former member of the armed services discharged on medical grounds. He said that he was starting a new job as a car salesman next month and that the job service (?) required that he get some sales experience before he started work. In this case my assumption was that he was genuine. Not everyone that knocks on your door is a scam artist. Whereas I was not interested in buying anything from him, you have to admire the fact that he was out there trying, whereas so many poeple don't.
  6. Try The Hollies Medical Centre, St Andrews Rd. Best in the area in my opinion.

  8. Both Curries and Comet are selling consoles at 20% off at the moment. Making an Xbox 360 Slim 250GB model £151.20 delivered at them moment. Use GAME20 for the 20% discount.
  9. I am a regular user of the Number 4 as I live off Psalter Lane and use the service to commute. I like to start early at work so I do not use the service to get to work as the first bus is not early enough for me. I do use the service to travel home. Here is what I have noticed. The bus is never full even at peak times. So I understand why the service only operates every hour. I do notice that the service is used particularly by older users, there are regulars that I see. The service is unreliable however, sometimes 20 minutes or more late or up to 5 minutes early. Both situations are frustrating. I am relativly fit and can use alterntive services but I have often thought of complaining for the older customers who may not have same options as I and who are impacted more than I whent the bus is late, early or doesn't arrive at all.
  10. The radiator should be simple enough for you to sort out yourself. All you need is a radiator key to loose the valve and let the air out. This is called "bleeding". The blockage is just air trapped in the system. Just make sure the heating is off when you do this as you do not want to scold yourself.
  11. Whilst I have sympathy for those in the area affected. The train line that runs under the bridge is the main line to London. Work can only be carried out when there will be little or no disruption to the train timetables. Therefore the majority of work is going to be during unsociable hours and over the festive season. I am sure that decisions to carry out such work at these times are not taken lightly. The good news is that the bridge that has caused traffic disruption for so long is finally going to be repaired. Overall I think that this can only be a good thing.
  12. As a local to the area, I have always been fascinated with this house. I have met George in the past. As for turning the house into flats, this will not happen. Nether Edge is a conservation area, a new ruling by the council mean that any existing properties cannot be now turned into flats. I see this as good news. I just hope that one day the house and gardens will be returned to their obvious former glory.
