  1. Hi, My baby girl died aged 8 weeks of a brain tumour back in October. We are hosting an event in order to raise funds for Bluebell Wood where we spent the final hours with Ivy making the most wonderful memories of pushing her on the swing and roundabout without all of the wires and tubes she would have had in the hospital. Here is the link to the event https://www.facebook.com/events/1646857185611095/ We would love to see as many people as possible. For tickets contact the Assistant Parish Clerk at Killamarsh Parish Council on 0114 2472260 If anyone feels they would like to contribute even if they cannot attend, we have a just giving page which we set up when Ivy died. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Gary-Morris18241 Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  2. Does anyone have any reccommendations as to any websites or shops or dress makers. I don;t want anything too elaborate, and my budget is around £150 not too much more if I can help it. To go into a shop, I would buy a size 26. But I know this might not be the case with a wedding dress. Have seen a site called Moon Exclusives, a seemstress who designs and makes wedding dresses from £130. I was wondering if anyone had used this service and could vouch for price/quality etc. Feeling very insecure right now. Thanks in advance:)
  3. Hi, I have written to the First bus company as I purchased a weekly saver ticket on Monday obviously not expecting the snow that we've had. The only bus service I can catch was suspended on the 1st, 2nd and today the 3rd of December. I aksed them if they would be paying out compensatory day savers like they did last year in the strikes. The response I got from them was less than satisfactory as I was told that due to the sno, they had already extended any weekly savers which expired on the 1st Dec to the 2nd Dec. As stated I bought my ticket on the Monday, so I doesn't run out until Sunday, and havn't actually been able to use this ticket for 3 days as they havn't provided the service for 3 days and have been unable to catch any other bus. Can anyone help me where i stand on this? Does anyone know of anything under the consumer rights act or anything, I know it's only 3 days but when i'm paying out almost £18 per week and I havn't had the use of the service i've paid for for 3 days I think I should be entitled to something? Any guidance would be fab!
  4. We have just come into possesion of a gorgeous 6 month old staffy bitch. Brown and black markings with a white paw and white marking on her neck,I will try and upload some pictures of her as and when i can. She had been left in a garden after the owner and her boyfriend split up and she couldnt look after her and her baby. Apart from this we don't know much about her, she didnt even have a name, but we, for the time being have called her Stella. We have reluctantly taken her in until we can find a new home for her, we both work full time and as much as we would like too, we cannot keep her. She has been with a couple of other dogs until we could pick her up to bring home and seemed more than happy to be around them. She is a bit thin, having been left outside for however long she was but has had a decent amount of food and lots of water since we have had her. She is a very playful and gorgeous dog but we only took her in because aparantly she was going to be put down as the owner really didnt have time for her As nasty as this may sound we need to find her a new home ASAP as we both have work all next week and dont want to leave her on her own. If anyone feels they could give her the love and attention she deserves please call:07889977443, we are in Hackenthorpe Thanks

  9. A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, 'Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started.' Her boyfriend asks, 'What is it supposed to be when it's finished?' The blonde says, 'According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster.' Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle. She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says, 'First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster.' He takes her hand and says, 'Second, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then ...' he said with a deep sigh.......... 'Let's put all the Corn Flakes back in the box.'
