  1. I work at Plusnet which is at the end of Trippet lane/Pinfold street, theres the Campo Lane parking but its touching 4 quid a go.. ---------- Post added 11-08-2015 at 09:58 ---------- To be honest i don't mind walking as i travel a fair distance to work anyways, aslong as i am able to park close to the city center or 10/15 minute walk. im happy to do that but with me being paid a monthly wage, paying £4 a day is a pain to constantly worry about. I'd rather have a pass i can use that will go in the window of my car.
  2. I'm a new driver and recently passed my test however im finding it particularly hard parking in Sheffield City center as i don't know it that well, i work in the city centre and im looking for a car park that is cheap, good places to park or even is there a car park you can pay a monthly/weekly fee?
  3. Owh right! What a bummer, were looking at doing a Thursday league if this one does well and attracts well. If you know anyone let me know :-) more the better
  4. Hello, I am starting a pool league for all local sheffield/rotherham pool teams to enter that play from clubs/pubs. It is a free to enter league prior to a very generous sponsor which will also include great trophies up for grabs to all winners. The league will take place every Tuesday at 8PM and each team will play home/away. Every week teams play 9 frames that consist of 6 singles, and 3 doubles meaning you only need 6 players in order to play. Winners will receive quality trophies, Team KO, Singles KO and more will also be included, we are a new league and will be ran efficiently and teams will be updated constantly on results prior to using a system that will ensure an easy use. In order to enter, either message me via our page Here or by contacting me on 07931814120. You are welcome to message me on here or give me a ring via the number provided if you wish for more information. Get in touch fast, limited places still need filling!
  5. We've had a lot of speculation about that area and at the moment BT aren't telling us anything since they're currently in talks with EE and O2 to buy them out..So at the minute i think once that has come to a final decision, they will begin to mass produce their products to more people as im hearing they're gonna be going crazy getting people hooked to Fibre quick in the coming few months.
  6. It's a very hard to explain situation really..in all honesty over the previous years internet capabilities have changed alot. Theres been Dial up, ADSL, ADSL+ and ADSL2, and now Fibre..chances are when you signed up with us you was put on an ADSL package which was standard at the time and allowed a max of 2.5, at the time ADSL improved very quickly and unless we litterally signed you up after the changes, you would have been stuck on 2.5, hence why when you moved, you'd have been put on the new ADSL2 packages, within the space of 9 months, it went from ADSL to ADSL+ and then ADSL2 so big changes in 9 months. Like if you come back to Plusnet now.. You're guarenteed the same speeds as you are currently on, if not quicker haha
  7. I work for Plusnet, You can look up what status your area is in on https://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/ and/or speeds of what your area will reach here: https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ Those are the most updated sites as we use them to back up our systems incase we ever have problems finding if an exchange/cabinet is fibre enabled. Hope this helps :-)
  8. Their is one in Sheffield my dad goes to. i'll find out for you as he is a big collector of marine fish
