Mine was going to be about 6 feet by 10 feet that's all so that could explain why quotes was price quoted. It was only to put a toilet in upstairs and a bit of storage down stairs .i have all ready got an extension built where this was going to go so foundations are all ready in but it is only a single story high
-
I was quoted around £20 k for a small double extension earlier this year by a one man band with me labouring but that was only for basic building. I would have done electric /plumbing tiling etc

People leaving their handbrake off
rudds1 replied to bertyboop's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Perhaps car manufactures could implant a system like we have on trucks. If the door is open and handbrake is not applied you either get a verbal warning or a loud buzzing to warn you On another note how do you know the handbrakes have been left off and not just failed once owners have walked away ? -

Some part time ones in barnsley near alambra centre ,if they work there which they do they should be able to work anywhere .have you ever travelled around tinsley viaduct at night ,there's a prime example of where part time signals would be good

How can the council protect people from the snow??
-
But the council don't get any of the money from people going through red light etc it all goes straight to the treasurey. What needs to happen with some of the lights in this city is they are put on say a timer so that around the hours of 22.00 till 5.30 am they switch off and drivers just approach the junction and treat it as a give way instead of sitting there while lights go through a set sequence
