The bicycle lanes on Saint Mary's Square (underground) are very confusing. For example, they change from being on one side from approaching from Ecclesall Road, to anotherside as you approach and move on to Moorhead. Why do they change which side they are? Why can't they pick a side and stick to it? Us walkers have to yo-yo between sides. Then again, when did anything the council does have any logic to it?!

Does anyone actually use the lanes ?

Weeing in the sea has been banned in Spain.

If your caught weeing in the sea you will be fined 600 euros.

Is this a good thing or not, do you have a crafty tiddle in the sea when no one is looking

I personally think it's a good thing, apart from the fact it could discolour the sea, it would also contribute to combat rising sea levels.

Should Britain follow Spain's lead and ban it, perhaps coastal erosion wouldn't be so bad if it was banned.

If you are holidaying in Brid, Scarboro, Skeggy, Whitby etc. please use the land based public toilets.

I want to know how will they know your having said wee unless you make that face that’s made when your having a good wee     .smoking on some beaches in Spain has also been banned

It's a real bonus this hot weather.......

I don't have to use energy to heat the water in my small 80ft x 40ft swimming pool, the sun does the job for me...

I like to contribute to combatting climate change..

The family are now devouring Bangers and Burgers at the pool side.

    Can't beat this weather.

Hope you’ve got diving boards as well.

Here's me, thinking you were a human like us, and doing a great job of driving things around the country/world.  Now it seems I was wrong - you are a turkey, complaining about the weather.  You wait until Christmas, when you are chased all over, and if they catch you.......you'll certainly find it hot inside a familiy's oven!

    Ha ha ha

    Hello,
Me and my family are planning to relocate from Buckinghamshire to Sheffield. We recently had a baby and we want a bigger house and as the rental prices for 3 beds in SE are insane we decided to try North of England.
We've found a lovely house in the Southey Green area, just south of Buchanan Road. We don't know Sheffield very well, apart from the few visit during camping trips to peaks which we really enjoyed!
Can we have some opinions about how the place is in 2022? We, unfortunately, saw few bad opinions about the area which got us worried, with some people even saying to "AVOID at all costs". We are not looking for anything fancy but we don't want to end up in an unsafe, deprived neighbourhood.

Thank you for all the help!

It’s nowhere as bad as portrayed nowadays.   Loads of new houses going up and most are sold allready and not even finished yet

My neighbour has a Labrador dog who climbs up on her knee every day and licks her face, neck, arms and ankles. She likes this but is it healthy ?

I don’t think I’d let a dog lick my face.    You don’t know where it’s had it’s tongue
