Thanks for all the replies. I got the HTC Desire C for £90 from phones 4u as it had bigger memory and runs ice cream sandwich. Some of the other more expensive ones like a sony at £160 and htc at £210 had less memory and only ran android 2.3. Is it expensive for the makers to put more memory on phones as they all seem to be low and must no people want more memory.

Thanks for the link. It says both phones have 512mb ram. Is the ram whats making the phone slow, like when you download apps that cant be moved to sd card ?

Hi all, i am wanting to buy the HTC Desire C and dont fully understand the memory. The only information i could find is on the tesco mobile site saying it had 4gb internal memory/ 512mb. I have the old HTC Wildfire S with low internal memory, couldnt find out how much. Can anyone tell me if the desire c is better than the wildfire s or recommend a phone with good internal memory for less than £200. The desire c is £110 from tesco. Thanks for any help.

Ive had things from the HMV website and im sure it said that they dont charge you until your item has dispatched. If it says that then they shouldnt have took your money.

I wish to remove all the pre installed rubbish that you cant delete and apps that keep running that you cant stop. As you cant move all apps to memory card, i cant have all the apps i want on my phone. Ive downloaded go launcher as Leadhammer said try, but that takes alot of space up to and cannot be moved to sd card.

I know but you wouldnt just go out to buy a cd. Just go in when your up town anyway, but i suppose that 10 year ago there wasnt any phones or mp3 players that cost £500, leaving more cash to spend on other things.

People will download music for free o the internet but there are millions of people who pay to download it aswell. The price of a digital album to download can be upto £7.99 for a well known artist but you could get the album on cd for £8 or 2 for £15 at hmv. So apart from not having to go to the shops for it, why would you pay the same price for a download when you can have a physical copy of the cd that you can put on you your pc or whatever.

There has also been some issues with some apps that people download that require you to input your email or facebook and in the small print you agree to them sending adverts to people on your contact lists.

This happend to me on saturday at savers in town. The alarm went off as i walked through, didnt get challaged but i walked back in and the cashire said there shouldnt be anything in my bag to make it go off. I put the bag down and walked out, the alarm didnt go off then put the bag through and it didnt go off again so dont know what it was. The people of Sheffield dont look after the buses. Feet on back seat,people scratching the windo and writing on the back of the seat and so on.

I think the council should have kept all the houses and not sold them. Think of all the rent money they will be losing over the years.

Are they only resurfacing side roads, ive not seen any main roads been done. Amey must have done well out of the deal to do the job, i always see them driving around in the new cars they got.

You would think so but some of them just dont care. Last year someone on our road got broke into and they had an alsatian in the house, not sure if it was in a room with the door closed though. They look through the letterbox to see if they can see or hear anyone. Also from previous posts on here, the burglars have still been in the house even when the alarm is going off so what can you do.

There maybe no back door that they can go out of and if they are on a break then they have a right to smoke where they want. What about all the men i see having a fag outside the shops while they wait for the wife to buy a handbag, should they be smoking in the doorway ?
