In a discussion I had with some friends, one girl, a vegetarian, insisted eating meat was immoral. This led onto a discussion of animal rights in which it was revealed aforementioned girl happily wear a fur coat. She justified this on the basis that it was 'vintage'. Another friend, delightedly, enquired if she ate 'vintage' meat.
I won't get into the morals etc., but I once kinda went veggie on the basis of saving money on meat. As you suggest, Kaimani, not a good move! I gave up when I went out for dinner for a friend's birthday I had the biggest lump of red meat being served at the Thyme Cafe. I felt my cells regenerating instantly.
