Watch the prices on wonky fruit andveg in Morrisons, I found that some things were dearer than the 'regular' fruit and veg -
The new Sheffield Ikea discussion.
lucyhope replied to dutch's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
We've been today for the first time. I love it!! Wandered around, took a break for lunch, went and picked up the stuff on my list, a few things I didn't know I needed and home. No hassle, no crowds (except the cafe) we haven't seen it all because my knees were complaining (osteoarthiritis) and all other plans for the day have been cancelled!! -
He read from a pre- prepared statement, never looked up.The arrogance of the man implying that everyone was lying and he was telling the truth. Ask anyone that lives in Rotherham their opinion of Roger Stone and it won't be complimentary.

Recommend a Good Cake Maker MEGAThread
lucyhope replied to charmed7's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I can thoroughly recommend Lynne's cakes, she made one for my birthday last year. The cake itself was fresh, tasty and the detail on the decoration was excellent. She's making my daughter's Wedding cake later this year and the samples we've had have been delicious, the only problem has been which flavour to have for each tier! -
Presents, shopping and diabetics.

Dark chocolate is better for diabetics. As someone has already said, diabetic chocolate is revolting! -
I agree with all you've said here DerbyTup, and it's because of that brutal honesty I sought help from a hypnotherapist, I couldn't set myself on that right road, I found it to be very helpful to me.

Realising if I didn't do something about my weight would mean I wouldn't be around to see my grandkids grow is what made me do something. I was one of those people that thought weight loss meant starving myself, if someone said to me 'diet' I immediatley wanted the things I shouldn't have Changing that with hypnotherapy has given me a healthier relationship with food, nothing is banned, and that has resulted in a massive weight loss. It hasn't been overnight, but the weight didn't go on overnight either. So I am more mobile and able to exercise and enjoy it, having the confidence to don a cossie and go to aquafitand the gym just wouldn't have happened before, and if anyone had told me it would, would have been told they were barmy!! Hypnotherapy helped me and very likely saved my life.

Hypnotherapy doesn't work for everyone but it worked and continues to work for me--5stones and counting! I saw that programme with Derren Brown focusedhypno, bit scary that someone could have so much power over someone isn't it? Would there have been other skills used as well as hypnotherapy? Not sure what though! Agree about seeing qualified, reputable and experienced hypnotherapist.

It won't snow --I have a new winter coat, boots, we've got grit for the pathsand plenty of emergency supplies. We'll probably have a heatwave!!! -

Great idea, but it's still horrible and even if I'd got the money I wouldn't bid on it!

Keep going andy, don't give up because of one bad day. You can do it.
