Hackney's are now restricted to 857 but the plate is now next to nothing in value.The Downside is the running costs which will get a lot worse soon when the council makes you buy/lease an electric vehicle which is £60,000(£90,000 with interest). by that time I will be retired I hope.what happened to the concern with nuclear waste??

No not fraud.what I'm saying is that the guy who owns them,uses them as replacement cabs when another cabbie has an accident.The other party (insurance) pays for them until the drivers cab is fixed.ie;he owns a claims company.

As far as I am aware the 2 cabs in question are running as claim cabs ie; the other party in the crash is paying for them!.That's why he can afford to pay for them (because he is not!).

As I have said before iam not against the technology of poober but their predatory loss making driver flooding model which will and does lower drivers income.

The whole idea of poober is to desimate the competition so you won't be able to swap to city,they will have you by the short and curlys.

Yes that's why meters came into being but if you don't mind surge pricing , continue to support them.

Your right this type of service do well but not with poober, poober will never make a profit.Meanwhile it just puts cab drivers wages down by flooding the market. Would you be happy if your job was being flooded by subsidiised Labour?,I don't think so!. The management keeps tripping itself up in court .It's really just another pH company but, a lethal one.

All you people who keep saying poober are cheaper could you also mention please that you are being subsidised by a multinational company that looses millions every quarter. I know you don't really care but just mention it please.

Red kites are definitely more common than they use to be.Driving around south Yorkshire and north notts regularly I see them quite often.

I had an automated call recently supposedly from talk talk telling me that they had detected a fault on my broadband service and it would crash within 24 hrs if I did not let their engineering see to it.fortunately the poor English and crackling sound was so bad it gave itself away straight away, pathetic

Poober fares r heavily subsidised they admit they are loosing loads of dosh worldwide.thats even with evading tax too.i fully admit that their tech is good but their management is terrible.

You forgot to mention the fact that your cheap fare is because you are being subsidies to the tune of millions (poober is loosing millions every day), until all the competition is wiped out and your drivers are on slave wages(Detroit).

Poober will go up and then down just like any other private hire firm.another kid on the block will come along , always depressing drivers earnings.

Two phenomena (can't think of the correct word) have come together here,first of all you have the girls from care homes or dysfunctional families who have always been exploited by older males .then you have men whose​ culture is to associate with each other in groups (not gangs). These men tend to work at night and have unfortunately taken the bad from western society (drink and drugs). they have cousins brothers and friends in Luton Bradford Birmingham Rochdale etc who they have always kept in touch with so it's not surprising that the same troubles have come to light there. These are the men who have gone astray,who are living double lives. Does their religion have a problem with women ? Yes just as ours did 150 years ago!.Lets face it all religions have a problem with women.its not so long ago we were burning witches at the stake who were probably ladies going through the menapause. Recently we heard of news of Indian( Hindus) men on a bus raping the sole woman on the bus in Delhi cos she was out late at night and other such incidents in other sub continent cities. Nobody is mentioning what's going to happen to the nuclear waste with the new plants we are going to need to generate the electric. Electric black cabs will be on sale in London later this year at 50k or more just as the licensing authorities throughout the land are letting the non tax paying Uber flood the market with private hire cabs.Talk about stupidity!.

In my opinion Uber is a scam,they are using subsidies to attract drivers and customers.if you look into their finances you will see they are loosing millions.their technology is the only good thing about the company.when they have flooded the market with out of town vehicles and decimated the locals then the prices will shoot up.they also ship their money across the channel giving nothing to the NHS .if you believe in big companies avoiding tax then go ahead and use them . I will laugh when they fleece you!

Uber is a conglomerate loss making company who are endeavouring to undercut all taxis and private hire so that the whole competition disappears then they will quadruple their rate and become profitable.uber is a scam where drivers and passengers think it's fantastic for a short while.more fool them!
