  1. Funny you should mention this - I drove past at about 5:20 and there was a strong smell of something which I also assumed was cannabis. I could still smell it in the car after I picked my daughter up 15 mins later.
  2. If you can PM me an email address I will write a short piece for the meeting with regards to the issues we have suffered. Mum is quite a private person however, so this would be done anonymously.
  3. As a family we have suffered considerably at the hands of Adult Social Care over the last two months - missed calls, late calls, refusal to wash hair, no hot drinks provided, unemptied catheter bags, front door left unlocked, mum left in bed for 15 hours with no access to food, fluid or commode. Numerous phone calls to duty team with little or no appreciation of the cumulative effect of the above issues. Phone calls made to CQC, with little or no effect. Eventually I raised it as a safeguarding issue and we have finally had somebody start to take notice. No review of need for over 6 months (although this will be done early next week). And, to add insult to injury, mum is expected to pay over £150 a week for this level of service! Good luck with your meeting. I would have joined you, but unfortunately I work full time... as well as providing over 70 hours of care per week for my mum.
  4. I was also stuck in this earlier today, however, according to BBC travel site: A61 South Yorkshire - One lane closed and traffic congestion on A61 Sheaf Street eastbound in Sheffield between the Howard Street junction and the Harmer Lane junction, because of emergency repairs and a collapsed manhole. Not entirely the council's fault... apart from the lack of road maintenance perhaps. Might be one to avoid tomorrow too, unless they get it sorted tonight.
  5. If anybody sees her then please call it in using the numbers above. A current location would be helpful and can be used to track her movements. Please keep an eye out.
  6. Currently working on High Storrs Crescent if you want to try and catch them in person.
  7. Have sent you a PM but I think you need a few more posts before you can access it.
  8. Lol. Yes, that's what the traffic lights are for. We were quite surprised to see them appear but then got a letter from the production company explaining what they were for.
  9. It's for a film called X and Y. They are also filming a car crash at the crossroads of Edale Rd and High Storrs Drive.
  10. Lots of black smoke dominating Sheffield. Looks like bottom of the parkway. Does anybody know what's on fire?
  11. Not really a useful update Natalie considering the date on it is for the 21st January.
  12. Gritters? What Gritters? Greystones Road is like a skating Rink! 81 bus stuck halfway up, cars slamming into the back if each other on the way down! Nightmare!
