If you have a Transit van get an alarm
heating-eng replied to heating-eng's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I am not sure but i know the current model thats out now can be driven away in around 3 mins. ---------- Post added 16-01-2014 at 17:43 ---------- i think there are a number of problems with the MK6 but the MK7 is the one thats getting nicked the most i think. Factory alarm is no good either. -
just thought i would advised anybody with a new transit to get an after market alarm fitted ASAP. They can break into your van as fast as you can with no damage at all. You might think you left it open. My friend got his van nicked the other day ,they get in with a master type key. then they can just steel all your tools or they can they plug there laptop in and drive it away.

speed limits go down all over the place, fines go up and we get more mobile vans to collect fines. in my opinion this is a legal scam for the government to collect revenue. people are just getting brain washed to think speed is the cause of crashes, this is not correct, incorrect driving for what ever reason causes crashes. cars are also much safer than they were 50 years ago although speed limits are lower. by the way i have a clean licence with no points and i always try and drive below any speed limit. ---------- Post added 16-01-2014 at 17:23 ---------- Lol,that's a question a twelve year old could answer, but one would be more intelligent than to ask it. Ive passed 4 driving tests 2 without lessons the others minimum,it wasnt luck they were all sorted first time neither is having no accidents or points. A very wide big main road that you would think was a 40 or 50 MPH road, that way they can earn more money on fines.

The ideal logic is a very good boiler, baxi are good but stay away from the GA range. Worcester bosch boiler are not as good as people think and are not worth the extra money. I would be careful of anybody that can install very quickly, most good engineers will have lots of jobs booked in at the moment.

So it's pedestrians fault then, maybe they should get the fine and the points lol.

Speed kills ..but the fastest roads are the safest ..work that one out.

I fit quite a lot of ideal logics ( maybe about 200 ) and I have never had one fault. I agree with WB not been what they used to be ,I have fitted quite a few WB and there fail rate has been quite bad. The ideal logic would be much cheaper and with 5 years warranty. Could fit one of these from£1099
