Well, originally I was planning a completely vegetarian/vegan restaurant but I have been considering the idea of offering only a few meat dishes. However I am reluctant to do this as I feel that it would put some vegetarians/vegans off. Also as a vegetarian myself I enjoy going to completely vegetarian restaurants as I know that there is no chance any meat has touched my food in the kitchen.

Thank you for your comments, I have also started a thread on the business forum but also wanted to get people’s opinion on the idea of opening the restaurant as well. I have read a lot of the posts already on here about vegetarian restaurants and a lot of people mentioned the Bohemian. I am a vegetarian myself but understand that some people complain about eating a meal that doesn’t have any meat in it and have been considering whether or not to have a few meat dishes that were made with free range meat. Do you by any chance happen to know the email address or a way of contacting any of the owners of the Bohemian? It would be very much appreciated.

Hi, I am thinking of opening a vegetarian restaurant in Sheffield either in the city centre or on Ecclesall Road and just wanted to know what people thought. Is it something you can see yourself or friends using? I would also be very grateful for any advice people have about starting up a business; in particular a restaurant.
