Hi there Me and some fellow Journalism students at Sheffield University are putting together a new magazine called Vinatge Daze. As you can probably tell from the title the magazine is going to be mainly aimed at vintage lovers and will include fashion tips, latest trends, glam photo shoots, celebrity interviews, real life stories, events, cute homeware ideas & recipes and general cultural pieces - all vintage based of course! Basically i'm doing a piece called 'when i was your age..' essentially interviewing mums and daughters about how fashion has - or more so - hasn't, changed over the years. This has come from my own mother who is forever telling me 'ohhh i used to wear sometihing just like that.' The interview would consist of just a casual chat basically about what the mum used to wear in comparison to their daughter now, and possibly a photograph in your best get ups or in outfits which are similiar to one another to display how young women today are wearing all the same fashions of our mothers generation! I'm wondering if anyone in the Sheffield area would like to help me as i would really appreciate it and i don't bite! I'm looking for mums of any age, and daughters in the region of about 15 - 28. Thanks & looking forward to hearing any responses xx
