  1. Glad you all enjoyed it, look out in the Sheffield Star on April 6th for a feature on the event and also keep an eye on their website as they came down to film!
  2. I went down an hour or so ago and the unit looked great, it's merchandised really nicely and there were people waiting outside. Going down again in a bit!
  3. MissChatter it's on until 9pm tonight, is that any help? No other events of this kind planned so far but you never know - there may well be if it's a success!
  4. Well it looks like it's going to be a great event and both the Star and Telegraph have put notices in about it this week so I bet loads of people will go down. It is just women's clothing and accessories but all the more for us!! See you down there!!
  5. In theory yes! But obviously it depends what other people have brought down to swap, whether they are new or old items, whether there is something new in your size or the style you want etc... There isn't any 'buying' involved, it's all just swapping! It's all going to be merchandised by the event organisers though so everything will be displayed on hangers and rails etc.
  6. You can take down new or old clothes to swap, it doesn't matter either way. And there will be new and old clothes available at the event you can choose from. It's just a good way to get rid of things from your wardrobe you don't really wear.
  7. Yeah it's one ticket per item and then you can go and choose other things - there are no different values or anything.
  8. Any un-swapped clothes go to charity so it's a good way to clear out your wardrobe if there are things you want to get rid of and possibly pick up something new or different in the process )
  9. Is anyone going to the 'swishing' clothes swap event at Meadowhall on Thursday? There are loads of brand new clothes up for grabs that still have tags on, as well as other things people will take down to swap, and all you have to do is take unwanted clothes and exchange them for tickets then go and choose 'new' ones! I'm definitely going to go and get some new stuff in for spring, can't wait! In case anyone wants to go it's on the Upper Gallery next to WH Smith and runs from 12:30pm until 9pm, so plenty of time to go down after work.
