I live off the parkway & I can confirm that it flew past here. Road still blocked off both ways as of 23.40

---------- Of course it's a prime spot.that's why tesco wanted it in the 1st place. A re-furbishment won't be that hard if they took it over.not only that,tesco will take customers from asda (Handsworth )& morrisons(catcliffe)in my opinion. But.we'll have to see what happens.

--------- Tesco wanted this site orginally but because it was a bus depot they were told that they had to wait 10 years to build on it hence b&q took the site over. Wouldn't surprise me if tesco came back in.it's a prime spot.

Pretty sure we didn't have this much trouble when it was the old sheffield council that was gritting the roads. amey have a lot to answer for. Some secondary bus routes are still unpassable after all this time.

I've also been told that traveller's have set up on the old bookers site off parkway avenue.

I agree with lakerman,I got replacement tubes from there earlier on this year.

Used to be a good read but got expensive when they wanted a quid for it,just like the star,that will be next to go,especially when you can now read all the news you want online.

Try looking outside the mosque travelling onto queens road again,you'll see double yellow lines.

I pass there every Friday just after 9.30pm. There's always cars parked on the double yellow lines,bang outside the mosque.

I passed the mosque Sunday afternoon,just after 12 & there were cars parked on the double yellow lines then,so it's just not fridays. Like i've already stated,I pass there twice a day so I see 1st hand of it.

Obviously not because cars are still parking on both sides of the road causing traffic congestion.
