  1. There are a number of clubs dotted around the city, what areas are you in/ willing to travel to?
  2. Definition of local may differ but places within an hour-ish drive of Sheffield that I know of/ recommend are below. I'd suggest calling to check what they have in stock first, as you say 'keeping kit is pretty niche so may not have much in store. Personally I'd much rather see/ try things in the flesh before buying unless they're generic items. Sheaf sports are most local as they're in Darnall, don't have a website but run by really nice, helpful blokes: 0114 243 3131. CG Sports in Wakefield. Chicken George used to be a England goalie so I'm sure he'll be able to offer good advice. He's often out and about so if you can't get him on 01924 366956 try 07785114507. He also has access to the Wakefield astro pitches so you can have a decent knock about before you buy anything too. All Rounder Hockey @ Headingley Stadium have a decent sized showroom although I don't remember seeing any goalie kit on display, but then I wasn't looking for it. 0113 203 3679 Wasp are in Brigg. I've not been there but the fella I spoke to @ Abbeydale last season seemed a nice guy. 01652 409 468 Hope this is helpful...
  3. Hi, I'm looking for a childminder for a Y1 child from Greystones Primary, Mon-Thurs after school only, from the beginning of the January 2014 term. Please send me a message with contact details, credentials etc. Thanks
  4. We've used Ambesol and Calgel with good results. Lidocaine is the ingrediant to look for. We've also had success with the Teetha granules.
  5. Sheffield United has sessions for toddlers and youngsters at the academy in Shirecliffe. There's precious little about it on the web, no idea why, but if you call them on 0871 663 2432 you can speak to someone about what they offer. The Saturday afternoon sessions are supervised rather than facilitated so it's up to parents and kids to make the most of it - I took my 3 year old for a few weeks but I wanted something more structured.
  6. OP -Tai Sun is good and will probably see you right. No one seems to have mentioned KH Trading on Boston Street, S2 4QF (in between London Road and Brammall Lane) which I prefer. It's a more of a warehouse setup so is much bigger store and has an aisle dedicated to Japanese food. I reckon it's marginally cheaper than Tai Sun too.
  7. I'll second Two Steps, plus the regular trade means you're likely to get pretty freshly cooked food too
  8. Bragazzis are a good Italian deli so would be worth trying? bit of a newie so can't post hyperlink to their website, number is 01142581483
