Yep. I agree. My hubby works evenings/ weekends whilst I work during the day. That means he looks after our little girl most week days. A friend of ours also looks after his two girls during the day whilst his wife works. I think there's a lot more families like this. Why restrict it just to mums? Not having a go, just trying to raise awareness

We've got some standard ones- what's up (G, Am & C), Wherever You Will Go (A, E, F#m, D), Summer of 69 (D, A, think there's a Bm and an F somewhere etc, etc). We've had a go at Call Me, some Beatles songs and a few others. Just bring along what you want to have a go at, or be prepared to share chords and direct the structure of the song.

Hi, Yes jam night is usually last Monday of the month. It was set up purely for people to cone and have a go. I'm a keyboard (not good) / singer (not bad) but need music, so I bring music. We've got a couple of beginners, some play by ear-ers, some need music-ers (like me). I've got a small PA-which take the mic's and my keys. We've just bought a small drum kit. Other people tend to bring their instruments and an amp. We're a friendly bunch and just tend to have a go! Not sure how many I've got this week. I know I have a bass player but as yet it's just me and them as far as I know!!
