Hi Tangerine, this Barrie Wragg my age 72. Nice to know about other people who went to the sasprilla shop. I remember the coal man on Shirland lane, he had 2 Shire horse's because i used to go & clean out the stable.

Attercliffe Church was rebuilt at the right hand side of the cemtery, back of the bank. i was confirmed in the church around the late 50,s. the scouts & girl guides used the room upstairs.

To Mike 17 it was the Adelphe the posh cinema in Attercliffe.

yes whent to Huntsman Gardens left 1953. Lived on Britnall st. Margeret Wright lived on Frances street &i still see her while shoping in Crystal Peaks
