Does anyone on here remember marshalls supermarket on mansfield road i think its now a co-op

yeh it was the 80s wen he worked there his name is steven watson i remember a little woman who used to stand up while workin on checkout and was really fast her name was rhoda

i remember the one at manor top which has been various other supermarkets since most recently netto and now asda my brother was manager at fine fare manor top years ago

it was just outside the school gates just below the playground which made it easy to slip out at playtime or dinnertime and back into school without been noticed or so we thought lol i think it closed in the eighties and somone bought it and turned it into a home as was the property next door

Does anyone remember this little shop on Chadwick Road Woodthorpe. It was run by two women but i now believe its a house , used to be able to get some amazing sweets from there share your memories of this little shop

we also used to go to hayfield in that old brown sherpa van lol ive heard hayfield is derelict now used to have resident ghost annie

yeh thats rite pulp were our school band as well as the electric armpits lol used to love goin to there concerts at end of term i left there in 87 . it,ll probably be knocked down and rebuilt or summat as most of the schools have it was slipping down the hill when i was there lol

mine was either bambi or petes dragon whichever came out first of the two lol

Does anyone remember the rex cinema on mansfield road what was the first film you saw there

mr debes was headmaster wen i was there then he went to manchester and mr gabbani took over as headmaster

oh and mr brown as well he was disabled and his wife was a teacher there too

the only one on ther that i remember was mr mcpherson or big mac as we called he just retired as i started there in the gud old 80s lol
