Is this the bit where there is a big metal flap where the water is coming out that is flowing down the stream?

I remember this but as I used to mess about down there when I was a kid about 37 ish years ago.Ā
I havnt been back there for years but Iā€™m going to go up sometime to see what itā€™s like nowā€¦

It's close to that metal flap but further down stream. When we were kids there was no metal flap there and we used to walk up the tunnel.

When we were children we played on the donkey hill in firth park summer was cardboard sliding down on the grass winter was sledging great times I suppose in them days but never knew why it was called donkey Hill? Never saw any donkeys šŸ«Ā

We used to do the same when we were kids, great times. If it's the same hill that you are talking about there is a path and a stream at the bottom. Couldn't do it now becauseĀ lots of trees have been planted there now.Ā I'm 70 now but remember it like it was yesterday. I lived on Cammell road.

If it is not proven then they are by defaultĀ  innocent of any wrongdoing.Ā  The reason why the funding page has received such a huge amount of donations is because normal respectable honest folk believe the sacking is unfair.

I'm normal, respectable and very honest and I believe their sacking was just and fair.

They have knocked down Chapeltown Leisure Centre too, so that just leaves Stocksbridge for those living in the north. It's still better than us in the South West, who have nothing.

They have built a brand new facility {Ā Thorncliffe Health & Leisure Centre} on Pack Horse Lane, High Green (about one mile away).Ā Just Here

  5. Do not hand over the item until you have the money. You can accept cash. If they do a bank transfer check your bank to make sure the money is in before letting them take the item (a bank transfer is instant in most cases). If they pay you by Paypal make sure they sign a piece of paper stating that they have collected the item.
