Just a thought for the day, I know its old news but anyway... The lady who recently lost her appeal for a major airline for wearing a christian cross on her chain, I seen on news the same airline are selling chains on there flights with a cross on?? is it me or is this country going completly crazy?? how PC must we get before the country blows up? do muslims or any other religon really care if we wear crosses? I dont care what they do and I am sure they dont care what I do, BUT I wonder how many people the airline employ that wear turbans or any other item of clothing that relates to different religons? why cant the PC's just leave us to plod on together? they cause more trouble than the skinheads used too.... thats my rant over, just sick of hearing about how christians are bad un's for following thier religon...

There are only 3 of us in garage, you would think if you cant manage 3 men then you cant manage at all. He hit an old fellow a couple of yeras ago, funny how the camera just goes out of view below the office window. Its not a case of having anything to hide its just very annoying knowing someone is staring at you all the time, maybe all we got is harrasment, we can have under the new human rights legislation for invasion of privacy (APARANTLEY there is a set time that you can watch a single person on camera without cause but we need someone who knows leagally if this is true) but how the hell do you prove that?

Just after some advice about employers using CCTV in the work place. We work in a garage and the gaffer has had CCTV fitted, the trouble is he spies on us ALL the time which is driving us mad. They are totally abusing it, a couple of examples are, one fitter was once working just after his break in a blind spot that the camera cant see, the gaffer rang up and asked why he was still in mess room and not working, the fitter told him that he was working and to cut a long story short the fitter had to move across the garage to show the gaffer on camera he was where he said he was. Also if we stop for any reason he calls up and has a go (we dont take the p**s very rare do we stop) we have time sheets also and every week or so he gets his bit*h to go thru the cameras and timesheets to see if they match up and we are telling truth. He can acces the cameras from any other depot he also watches them from home on his laptop. It is worth leaving the job but it is pretty well paid and its a good job + I am too stubborn to let them drive me out. I know people are going to say its harrasment, bullying, get him under data protection act and invasion of privacy, we realise that but does anybody know how we stand LEGALLY?

When I was tiny my mum noticed the top of my nose had got more red over a couple of weeks and there was a lump at the top, In hospital they removed a drawing pin I had got stuck up there, the sharp point was working its way out which was causing the lump. I still have a lump and my nose is very very slightly off-line 30 years later. Apparantley they have a glass box on the wall in the childs hospital and my drawing pin is in there, if it still is or not I have no idea. Ps... my nose is very very very off-line you wouldnt even notice untill I POINTED it out hihi

My daughter is 2 years old now and I cant wait to take her sledging, personally i never really been bothered if it snows or not, never seen the excitement before, but she will love it haha And I bet more people reply to this saying they hate snow. Hope it comes soon anyone heard anything on weather if its due??

no they wouldnt have to merge, it would be 2 lanes all the way down and 1 the other way. and change them over for rush hour going the other way, basically all you are doing is have 3 lanes that go the full length of road and changing the direction of the middle lane for the rush hour to suit the busiest direction, they use this system all over the country and it works fine.

The best idea is like queens road with arrows and crosses above the lanes, that way you could have 2 lanes going towards parkway in a morning and 1 coming away, then 2 lanes coming away at night and 1 lane going towards parkway, surely this makes more sense??

are they not risking an accident by trying to bully people over when there isnt a gap?? ive seen people bullied over to the grass before, how can you defend this? first person that pushes me over i will make a mess of the side of there car and will be the first one out of car Why doesnt anybody understand how ignorant this is?? is anybody on my side??

I think you will find all the people that have been queing behind me for ages see me nudge into a car for shooting down the outside lane and pushing in, the will applaud me not stand as a witness, thing is even if you drive close to the car in front and the person behind you drives close to you (cause they think the same) these s***s still try to bully you by driving directly to the side of your car and moving over, its amazing how they find a different gap if you have the guts to start moving back towards them hahaha i laugh my rocks off hahaha you should see there faces

Nah if you count the ignorant s***s there arent enough to back up that far, there are only a few but just enough to slow everybody else down. You should move to inside lane as soon as you see they are queing. we are all in same boat me being at work on time is just as important as anyone else being on time. The best bit about it when I smash into them i claim of their insurance as it seems as if they came into me hahahahahahaha I love this country !!

I always block the lane !! :P :P All you that use outside lane when the inside lane is queing, you are the most IGNORANT, ARROGANT s***s on the planet. We stay in on the inside lane so the traffic keeps moving, if there was no-one cutting in at the merge then there would be no reason to stop and we would ALL keep moving on nice and slow. and by the way if i am near the front and you try to cut in, i WILL slam my car in to yours i wont let you have a gap, yours is prolly more expensive car anyway, look out for a Rover.

Anybody heard anything about the Embassy and Foxwood getting demolished on Mansfield Road Intake? I have only heard this once and nobody elase seems to know about it, I hope they are re-building it if they do or just giving it a re-furb:confused:
