  1. Hi buck545 - I don't live in Sheffield now so can't make 11th March unfortunately but I understand there may be another get together in October so if I have enough notice of date I can make arrangements for that. Would be good to catch up in person with Linda.
  2. Hi buck545. Please remember me to her - my name was Anne Sprague - and we were best mates at school. We both passed our 11+ but Linda went to King Egberts and I went to Grange Grammar and so we never kept in touch. I always used to call for her on my way to school in a morning and we used to walk the last 200 yards from her house together.
  3. Hi buck545, did your wife Linda Wilson live on Earl Marshall Road when she went to Grimesthorpe School ?
  4. Hi MinnieJ, thanks for the welcome. Will remember you to Keith next time I speak to him. He still lives in Sheffield at Low Edges. We catch up on the phone monthly'ish and I see him 4 or 5 times a year when I get over to Sheffield or he visits Skeg.
  5. Hi DavidRa, Yes Keith was 60 last year and Bernard is 2 years older. Hi MrsJDS, assuming you are MrsJDS 4th, as I am MrsJDS 2nd!! It's a small world. How are you keeping? Hope life is treating you well now. Skeggy is just fine - bit damp and chilly - but fine.
  6. Hi everyone, found this Forum by chance and not sure if I am eligible to comment!! I went to Owler Lane Infants and then Grimesthorpe Juniors before passing my 11+ in 1965 and going on to grammar school. I have two older brothers who also went to these schools and then onto Owler Lane Secondary (not quite as brainy as I was), Keith and Bernard - our surname was Sprague. We lived on Firth Park Road, the Page Hall end. Names I remember from those days are Linda Wilson, Diane Holmes, David Palmer, Maureen Howard, Carol Edwards, Denise Farmer, Alan Oldfield, Malcolm Ullyatt.
