  1. I just need to say one last word on this subject because it has really got a bit silly .. the council havent paid for anything , cliffhanger or any other event pays for everything plus pay the council for using the park .. the council has only lost out due to the event being cancelled .
  2. I have a magnetic bracelet and i can assure you all it works for me, you need to leave it on 24 /7 .. i got mine from dobbies garden / shopping centre at barlborough
  3. I`ve got to agree with you emleever.. some people are not happy unless they are grumbling about something .. wait till the parking meters come into force next week costing 40p for a couple of hours... i`m sure that in itself will start a new thread ..
  4. I have tried them, but to be honest my will power wasnt very good, if you really put your mind to it i am sure they work, i know 3 people that have stopped via the electronic ciggy, the only problem i found was the charge didnt last very long, so if you was out all day you would definately need a spare
  5. why do you not trust help the aged? they do some good work for the elderly and disabled, you could at least give them a ring to get some advice
  6. Got to agree with you sjwilliams, these people are the scum of the earth, just wait till these lads are home owners themselves, hopefully they will get burgled then lets see how they feel.. an eye for an eye
  7. MJB Electrical services have just finished a complete rewire at our house, We needed the job doing pretty quickly so matt did a bit of juggling and managed to get us booked in, very competitive price, very helpful lads who did the job, nothing was too much trouble, we wasnt left without power during the rewire and they had to work around us living in the house,, all in all the jobs a good un.. i must say that we was a bit wary about getting a tradesman from Sheff Forum but the feedback he had was good so took the chance, i am glad we did. Thankyou Matt Lol and johnno
  8. certainly is crowtrees, do you know anything about the wall?
  9. Donkey Lover i am hardly going to put my best bedding on when the house is in such a turmoil, they are not that old actually its just the colour that doesnt do justice..there is no need to be rude .... we wont paint over it but it will get covered with wallpaper
  10. I have recently moved to chancetwood and stripped the wallpaper off one of the bedroom walls and have unearthed a bit of history, the art work has got to be 40 years old, there are quite a few names and phone numbers wrote in a star around the light switch, my husband is 56 and he recognises 2 of the names and said they went to the same school as him which was Newfield, I`m not putting the names on here but does anyone recognise the work
  11. i have 3 network just to make calls to my family as the offer was good when i took it out, must be honest tho its a load of rubbish the network coverage is very poor. I use Tesco network for all other calls it is very good and have not had any trouble what so ever with coverage
  12. I`d be willing to pay a £1 per visit as would most people, i use the blackstock road recycling yard quite often. we need to help save jobs.
  13. Its like that in the co-op every day, i call it Q-up... what gets my 'goat' is when a shop assistant doesnt look at you or utter a word of please and thank you and a smile would crack her / his face and they have all on to tell you how much the bill comes too ( usually a woman ) total ignorance its a disgrace and they need pulling up by the manager.....
  14. i couldnt have said it better myself.. Frank ryan knows what its all about well said..
