Oh dear.does not sound good.I dont really want to live there to meet people.I am happy on my own.If i was treat like that they certainly wouldnt be getting my custom.I have been to the pubs at stocksbridge.did get the looks while walking through the door but everything was fine.I dont fit in to many places because i dress gothic i often get stared at anyway so im used to it

I worry about that because i dress gothic and have also heard goths get hassle out there too.thanks for the luck really hoping i dont need it

Hi all.Thanks for your replies.I have been to the area a few times and never had a problem.I wouldn't be going to the pubs but would be going to the local shops.I am not moving to the area to become friends with everyone either.I prefer to keep myself to myself.I have heard from some people that if you move there you get hounded by people and they all stick together.my main worry about moving there is what i have heard about everyone pushing new people out.I am also worried about gangs that hang around.which you get everywhere it is something i have to deal with already.When i have been over there i have not felt scared i have found everyone to be quite friendly :-))

do they say are you local in the shops? what would you say to moving to hackenthorpe?

Just wondering if anyone knows what the area of Deepcar is like to live in?.Also any comments on stocksbridge too?

hi,i have an old firplace and want to sell it but not sure what its worth it may be worth nothing but i just dont know.i think it is a cast iron one it is cream.all i have to go on is the number on the bottom and the name but cant seem to find anything on the internet about it.it says on the botom redfyre,pat app,no 2335452 and has two 2s wrote on it.does anyone know anything about this?many thanks

one just ran from under sofa from the side of my foot.hate them.after chasing it from under the table with a curtain pole it got a size 10 magnum boot on it.still took two bangs to kill it.so paranoid now thinking theres more.my feet are up

at the time i had to buy what i could find and afford.my daughter is not the smallest of pupils so it was very hard to find anything.i didnt actually think it would matter cos it was hardly noticable.they are black all over.they asked for black they got black.
