  1. ..how can you fight for father's rights? is there anything going at the moment? i know there was a fathers union or something a couple of years ago where they dressed up as superheros or something (i dunno its a little memory in a dusty cupboard) if things are as bad as you say then something really needs doing. from the sound of it i'm guessing you've been through this also?
  2. oh ok lol. No i just thought cause psychological disturbances etc can manifest themselves in physical things, like wetting the bed or itching etc.
  3. lol my mum is a bit mental like that lol you two would get on.
  4. well there must be a line drawn somewhere though surely?
  5. no but people keep on saying that cigarettes AND pollution are causing asthma etc. so surely they are pretty much one in the same
  6. lol actually i did it because you mentioned it and i wondered what the majority would do. but yes you did give me the idea. so tea and chocolates are your best friends then?
  7. I know it does. I cant actually see any rights that fathers have that are stronger than the mother.. is that purely because the mother gives birth and carries the child or is there something to suggest women are more capable somewhere? ( not for a minute suggesting they are)
  8. If you had to give up one. Which would it be?
  9. well chocolate is better for you dragon. To be honest its not that bad, im used to it, it drove me mental when it first started.
  10. i think the people that make the problem are those who drive around the corner. I read somewhere once that it actually takes more to drive your car a few yards and then stop than it does if you drive a long way? not sure if its due to the output on starting and stopping or something to do with nackering the actual car itself but those who drive say from sheffield to devon (i know thats an exaggeration) have more reason than those driving from broomhill to town.
  11. haha, im allergic to chocolate, i itch when i have it and if i have a hell of alot of it i find breathing hard (think it sets off my asthma or something) ask demoniac how much chocolate i eat. women will happily itch for chocolate won't they
  12. lol what do you mean? have you found the problem now?
  13. could it be psychological (sp?) perhaps?
  14. I think the call was cause they were going to portugal, I mean if i go anywhere my mum still likes me to call just to say ive arrived safely but I wonder what effect it does have on children being like that, surely they see it even if they don't fully understand it.
  15. benefits_boy, are you blonde like me? that was classic! made me smile anyway. i can see the pros and cons of everyone being on the data base. then again my boyfriend thinks we should all be microchipped so..y'know. The do of course need permission from the mothers, but with the tests carried out in hospital i would have thought everyone's DNA was floating about somewhere surely?
  16. I'm watching something called Who needs a dad, it's basically about how dads are coping with trying to see their kids, and I have to be honest there is a woman on there who doesn't need to be treating her ex husband like she is. Basically it got to the day before he was meant to take his kids camping to france and she wouldn't let him take them, she barred his calls and sent him texts saying he was stupid. Also he had to get involved with court just to get his kids for the holiday, he's been waiting 4 years for the holiday cause she hasn't let him have them before. What does everyone here think? Is it important for children to have two parents (obviously there are situations which will mean they don't) and for those parents to get along well or at least be civil? Exactly what rights do fathers get because it seems the courts are mainly on the mother's side.
  17. only pointing something out guys but the OP has only said her sister lives at home with her disabled mum, not that she is unemployed although it's possible it wasnt what was said. She has said she isn't in education anymore but im 19 and i left school at 16, i've worked a full time job for 4 years earning next to nothing now I'm now in a part time job earning a bit more than my previous one. But if i posted saying i was now pregnant would I be tarred with the scum-brush? If she is pregnant she is entitled to benefits, if shes a single mum she is also. The attitude to people on benefits on here is appalling! I know someone who is not working because of arthritis and gets benefits, does it make him scum that he's in serious pain if he works? My sister gets benefits for her disability which if you want i'll post all about but chances are none of you will understand is she scum? My friend has a baby and is in college trying to because a forensic scientist etc etc make a better life for her and her baby, what about her? scum? why is this girl any different? if she is caring full time for her mum she could actually be getting alot more money by claiming carers allowance on top of job seekers and single mothers/whatever its called. so come who here can hold their hands up and say they don't claim; working tax credits, child benefit, return to work credit after illness, government funded maternity pay, lone parent benefit, disability benefit, severe disability benefit or childcare funding?
  18. that only says more than 99% which means you can still get pregnant, 97% however is an old statistic
  19. no its ok i thought i would ask cause i couldnt work out what i had done lol. havent posted this to upset anyone
  20. was all of that aimed at me cause ive made no assumptions in this thread nor did i ever say all fat people are fat cause of their own fault.. I was also not having a go at anyone on slimming tablets, I can relate to weight gain on contraceptives too as im on the implant
  21. well im not quite sure thats right gordon seems a little rough to be honest, plus there's the sideeffects of abortion for the mother to take into account. Have you guys sorted everything you needed by the way?
  22. some people don't believe in abortion though and who;s to say the child won't be loved? might grow up without a dad but my friend had a baby and loves him more than anything even though the dad (as far as i know) is as usefull as a chocolate fireguard
  23. that'll teach you to make assumptions won't it
