  1. Is,nt that what they call puff fishing?? Ive never gone as fine as that and I catch plenty of fish summer or winter.
  2. i know a bloke who said he had a blue marlin.
  3. hi graham, yes they are good fisheries especialy new biggin i,ve fished it many times.
  4. hi liljohn2345 do,nt think they have a website, go up and give it a try. some very good anglers up there, ask any body how to fish it or watch and learn from what you see. do,nt throw towel in after first try. it is a great venue and you will catch. hope this is helpful, tight lines f14 tomcat.
  5. hi mate, try further down towards m1. live baits are best by a mile if you can get any, or wobble sprats. its hard with spinners. good luck.
  6. hi bob, don,t blame you mate. tight lines from mick.
  7. hi bob, thats some bream bob, ive never heard of any that big. ive had a few up to 3lbs at retford.i would be interested to know where you caught your big uns. if you want to keep it quiet thats ok. cheers mick.
  8. forget it mate,if you want some fish to eat go to fish market in sheffield. pike are not good eating anyway.
  9. well done mate, very nice net of tench. Is it season book or day ticket.
  10. only caught odd bream skimmers nowt big, a few chub in some swims, but mainly roach. tip weedy in summer.
  11. hi websters gue, misson used to be a good venue for roach 10 to15 years ago, but i think its all private now, Iv,e been fishing at haxey for the last 4 years and iv,e noticed the roach making a come back. also a few ide and the odd small barbel and some nice dace. If you hit the river right when its running off all day you can catch all day on the stick float. plenty of roach in the 2 to 6oz mark, with fish to 1lb a bonus. Its right time now give it a go. might see you down there. good luck. tomcat.
  12. why don,t you learn to trot a stick float for roach on the river idle for a change. a lot more skill in it than fishing carp puddles. I,de rather catch 15lb of prime roach in a day than 100lb of your suisidle no lips split finned carp.
