I had a bad experience many years ago with loosing my sense of taste & smell. I was working at a garage at the time, on learning my predicament our boss who'd just been on holiday (and who's electricity had gone off) came back to a fortnights worth of rotting food in the well stocked chest freezer. I couldn't smell a thing, while t'other driver helping was 'Gipping for England' Happy daze, keep safe out there .

I've tested positive but apart from a headache on the first day I don't have any other symptoms. Felt right as rain yesterday and apart from a slight headache and a few sniffles this morning, again feel fine. I've had a lot worse 'Flu's than this (so far) is this typical ? (am I the 'Saviour' of the World?) The internet is nothing but a mine field of contradictory information. So, Joking apart, I would be interested in others real experience of having Covid. I'd say Wales 🤣 but we've done that already . Apart for my strange thing for Reliant's finest , I've always bought large saloon cars (remember the 'don't be a dinosaur' campaign in the 70's?). Well while when everyone was out buying little compact Japanese cars, we were out buying some of the big monsters left behind. Ok we'd got to the point we couldn't shoehorn all the kids in't t 3 wheelers and needed bigger cars anyway, but wages were good, fuel was cheap and the kids got days out & holidays. We made a point of taking the kids somewhere new locally every weekend and found many interesting places right on our doorstep. There is a list elsewhere of place we found local over the years. Can't afford Skeggi for the day? Take em em to Leeds (40+miles -1/2 the miles 1/2 the fuel) - Kirkstall Abbey free parking and plenty to do or get yer selves off T' Peak district even nearer. So stuff the rocketing price of fuel etc, get the kids (or yourselves) out local, learn them there's more to life than sitting in't bedroom with't a PlayStation. We neither smoke nor drink so while the present silliness of the unjustifiable increase in petrol at the pumps is annoying (and the kids have all left home anyway) be a Dinosaur, just have a closer to home stomping ground 🤣.
