I don't see why it should be hard. If you can prove that you earn enough to keep up the rent it should be pretty straight forward. One problem you might have is other people wanting the flat as well so make sure you ring first thing tomorrow morning.

I know it's an extremely busy time of year at the sorting office, but has anyone had their ID checked to pick up a parcel? I went last week to pick something up and they didn't check anything and funnily enough, this week I've had a parcel picked up in my name by someone else!!! I live in a house converted into flats so all the post comes through the front door for all the flats, so I'm guessing someone has just picked up my card and gone to collect the package. Luckily it was something I bought from Amazon and so they've agreed to give me a refund. Has this happened to anyone else? Like I said, I know it's ridiculously busy at this time of year but I really think they should be checking for ID before giving out parcels.

How are the shops closing related to more HMOs? Am I missing the point here?

Trying to get a job regardless of age is getting harder. I'm 22, a recent graduate, with retail and office experience, yet it took me 6 months to find a job. Keep trying, something will come along eventually!

Just wondering if I have some kind of virus on my laptop... I tried logging in to my natwest account a few days ago and it said my username/password was incorrect. I know for DEFINITE they were correct so I had to re-set everything. And then today I tried to log in to my ebay account (on a different laptop!) and it said that my username/password combination was incorrect, yet I know they were correct as I log in every day. I've successfully logged onto email and other online accounts, it's just specific to ebay and natwest so far. Just wondering if this could be some kind of virus even though it happened on 2 separate laptops? And if so, any advice please?

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice... Basically, I want to claim some tax back form the previous tax year as my total pay for the year was under the threshold. I worked over the summer, then at christmas (for the same company as summer) and then I started my present job in February. I was going to send them copies of both my P45s from summer and christmas and my P60, however, my P60 only shows the income I earnt from Christmas and my present job, as if I never worked over the summer. The tax I'm claiming back relates to the Christmas job, so the summer job is unrelated (and the amount I earnt would not put me over the threshold if included in my total pay) but I am worried that if I send them just the Christmas P45 and P60 then it will look like I am comitting fraud if they have on their records that I worked over the summer. And similarly, if I send them both P45s and the P60 then it will look suspicious why only one of my P45s is on the P60. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)

I've revently started making and decorating cakes for friends and family and wondered where is the best (and cheapest) place to buy fondant icing? Currently I'm buying it from tesco for £2 per kg. Does anyone know of anywhere in Sheffield (or online) that does it any cheaper? Thanks =)
