  1. It's obvious from the statistics what is happening. The more this LBGQT stuff is taught is discussed in school the more kids become aware of it. Tbe more aware of it they become the more 'normal' they consider it. When you are a confused kid the more you might get confused about your own gender.
  2. There are a few good links in the article such as this one - https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/09/16/minister-orders-inquiry-4000-per-cent-rise-children-wanting/ Perhaps attack the message and not the messenger? They are encouraging confused kids to seek help for a something that is pushed in their face 24/7 and at school as well. Shameful really.
  3. April 1, 2019 (Human Life International) — Disturbing new data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) highlight the grave dangers that the transgender ideology poses to children. A new survey of 131,901 public school students has found that nearly 2 percent of students in grades 9–12 identify as "transgender." That translates into a staggering number of teenagers suffering profound confusion about their identity and all the accompanying psychological and physical risks. While reliable statistics about the rates of transgenderism among high school students across time are hard to come by, more and more data suggest that there is an alarming, and rapidly growing epidemic of gender dysphoria (the clinical term for this psychological disorder) among young people. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), for instance, recently reported that children's clinics in Canada are seeing an "exponential growth" in cases of teenagers "who don't identify as the sex they were born with." A doctor at one leading children's hospital, CHEO in Ottawa, told the CBC that ten years ago the clinic might see one or two children a year seeking to "change" their gender. Last year, they saw 189 such children. In 2013, British Columbia's Children's Hospital saw 20 children seeking transgender "treatments." Last year they saw 240. Similar increases are being seen in other countries. In the UK, officials are investigating the reasons behind a stratospheric increase in teenagers seeking "treatments" to become another gender in the past 10 years. According to The Telegraph, in 2009–10, there were just 40 girls seeking transgender "treatments" in the UK. In 2017–18, that grew to 1,806, an increase of 4,500%. Meanwhile, "referrals for boys have risen from 57 to 713 in the same period," reports The Telegraph — an increase of 1,250%. However, instead of seeking to identify environmental factors that may be causing this rapid increase, many clinics and doctors are instead rushing to "treat" these children using drastic, and in many cases irreversible interventions. https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/transgender-tyranny-is-the-next-terrible-step-in-the-sexual-revolution?utm_source=LifeSiteNews.com&utm_campaign=eec4425d4f-Daily%20Headlines%20-%20U.S._COPY_474&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_12387f0e3e-eec4425d4f-400674377
  4. 'Same sex relations are normal" - no they're not"and receive lessons seeking to normalize transgender ideology" - well that's just sick. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/muslims-halt-pro-gay-curriculum-in-uk-school
  5. Richard Palmer hold on minute. What have his private views got to do with his professional judgement? The problem here is summed up in the last paragraph: "But this is the glaring problem with AOP. It actively encourages social workers to challenge and attempt to change the beliefs and behaviours of those they encounter who do not adhere to the current moral orthodoxy. So, if a social worker’s own beliefs do not adhere to that orthodoxy, then he or she is in trouble. In turning attitudes and beliefs into a concern of social work, social workers themselves become more than social workers; they become missio…See more Like · Reply · Mark as spam · 1h Paul Duffin Reminded me of Alf Garnett and his black social worker. From my experience in the profession many Christians make excellent SWs (believing as they do that we are all sinners) and are perfectly capable of working with their clients collaboratively and non-judgementally whatever their views on personal morality. What happened to this chap is not about maintaining professional standards, it's about curtailing freedom of expression. Another part of the mass project currently under way to try and impose enlightenment on the benighted masses. Ironic really. https://www.spiked-online.com/2019/03/20/social-work-no-place-for-christians/
  6. Without the Globe model, the Big Bang model wouldn't be considered. Without the Big Bang model the Theory of Evolution wouldn't be on the table. Without the Theory of Evolution extraterrestrials seeding mankind is over. Without all these lies people start thinking about the Creator..... Who we are, where we came from.
  7. Dismissing the obvious as a conspiracy theory is a cop out for discussion. Last resort perhaps when you don't have a leg to stand on in this thread? Derogatory term designed to mock the messenger.
  8. I can see a time in the very near future if this nonsense / censorship is allowed to continue - that if you are a student and you question the Man Made Climate Change narrative on social media that Universities will have the 'right' to throw you off the course if they determine it conflicts with your current studies and future employment. Orwell 1984
  9. I would have said Luke Shaw,Chilwell or Delph prior to watching the Burnley v Leicester match. Charlie Taylor the left back for Burnley really impressed! Superb skills with his left foot were the first thing that caught my eye - far above Chilwell on the day. His vision - the cutback for the opening goal Then that top speed he showed outpacing his opponent for what should have been a penalty. Id give him the nod over Delph,Shaw next and Chilwell who was disappointing last choice. Need to see him more but he looks a genuine class player.
  10. Perhaps all the parents who have withdrawn their kids from such teachings should be barred from studying at University too? https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/03/14/591048/UK-school-Birmingham-homosexuality-lessons-suspension
  11. Health Care professionals within Australia can face legal action and be brought before their respective Boards if they question vaccine safety publicly or on social media. They can lose their licence. So if Sheffield Uni or any other Uni consider anti - vax or anti - abortion postings on Facebook by their medical students to be unacceptable or prejudiced in any way - can those students also be stopped from studying? It is indeed a slippery slope to a Orwellian System.
  12. He's not saying to their face what he said on Facebook and even if he had he still has a right to voice his opinion. Now if he said that in his line of work as a social worker to a gay couple then maybe a warning. Again,he is being penalised by the Uni for a hypothetical crime. As yet he has done nothing wrong that I can see. It seems free speech is slowing but surely being taken away from us - just read this.... Health Care professionals within Australia can face legal action and be brought before their respective Boards if they question vaccine safety publicly or on social media. They can lose their licence.
  13. He is not being prosecuted as in committing a crime but the university sees fit to withdraw his right to continue to study. He is being heavily penalised. He is expected to argue.... would leave a fifth of the workforce vulnerable to the charge that they had breached their professional code of conduct if they expressed unpopular beliefs. There are more than 200 regulated professions in the UK.
  14. The precedent is frightening,of that there is no doubt. University students posting on social media must now think twice about voicing their opinion or risk being prosecuted by the university for effectively a hate crime. From the article....... "At the meeting he said he could still carry out the role of a social worker without being discriminatory" As as far as I'm aware you cannot be prosecuted for a pre crime offence or a hypothetical crime you might commit in the UK. Of course if he loses his appeal - pre crime prosecution is there for all to see.
  15. Like he's going to express intolerance of anyone gay whilst working - that would be asking for trouble. He should not be penalised for a potential pre crime or a hypothetical by a university. To do so is nuts.
  16. "The former student has previously told the university that, regardless of his beliefs, he does not discriminate against gay people. His appeal argues that victims are protected in law and so limits on freedom of expression cannot be justified on the grounds of a hypothetical risk." Hypothetical risk.......pre crime division Shieffield University. Is Shieffield University privately owned or Govt owned?
  17. So the guy is being booted out of university for writing a anti gay Facebook post. I watch House Hunters International nearly every single day. Around one in three or one in four of their couples are gay. Blatant anti heterosexual programming when you consider the percentage of gays in the community. Where is the outrage or calls for the channels to lose their licence for broadcasting such anti heterosexual material?
  18. The precedent here is frightening. Post on social media and if it's deemed not PC or inappropriate by the university you are not allowed to continue to study. Most students in university will cower to their Orwell demands - were this case to be upheld.

  22. The budget for Celtic is like bigger than the entire pub league combined. Celtic and Rangers in the EPL would have the financial muscle to compete with the Big 6. Their fan base is monstrous, possibly as big as Man.Utd. A big 8 will result in many more interesting games. Super one sided matches in the EPL are its weakness. You only see these matches involving one of the Big 6.
  23. Injury happened on Jan 25 it was a Friday,my mistake. Third op happened 7days after the thigh bone op. Have a 30 cm rod in there. Serious injuries are no laughing matter and most don't think it can happen to them. So take care especially driving. Ive went from a super fit 53 year old to a invalid and will be till the leg brace comes off. Looking like a good 6 months minimum before I can get back to playing sport and likely a year before I push myself at any sport and that's best case scenario.
  24. Rule of water - power gives way to sail. A powered craft approaching something like 30 metres must slow down to 8 knots. He admitted to me he was travelling at around 17-18 knots though he may have changed his mind / lied in his Police Report. Thankyou for the words of encouragement and remember karma is not real....
