We are holding a Six nations gin tasting evening at The Hillsborough Hotel, Langsett Rd S6 2UB on 31 January, 8pm start. Six full measures, sampling gins from of the six nations, together with nibbles which Tom will provide, which will be from the six nations. The Call will be entertaining us at The Hillsborough Hotel on Langsett Road on Saturday 29 July - 9pm(ish) start! Making a rare appearance in S6, this popular Sheffield band will be entertaining us with music across the decades. Why not come along and join the fun? Food is served until 7.30 if you want to make an evening of it. Be grand to see you!

Hi We're sorry to hear that your visit to the Hillsborough hotel was spoilt because of the change to the advertised lunches and prices on the website. We are in the process of getting a new website constructed which will show our new menu, prices, special offers and events etc. Whilst the menu might be slightly more expensive, we take pride in using locally sourced produce, organic free range eggs and seasonal vegetables. We also have a specials board which offers meals at £5 until 6pm which offers a nice range of alternatives to the menu.

The Hillsborough Hotel, Gardeners Rest and The Forest will be hosting a beer festival 1 - 4 September. It will run from Thursday through til Sunday for all three pubs and there will be a good variety of beers - up to 50/60 between the pubs. Hi Yes there is definitely a beer festival going on between the three pubs. I'm from the Hillsborough Hotel - the festival starts on Thursday through til Sunday for all three pubs and there will be a good variety of beers - up to 50/60 between the three of us. As well as the beer festival, at the Hillsborough Hotel we have a music quiz on the Thursday night (1 Sept) which is a bit of fun but also raises money for our nominated charity, Prostate Cancer UK, and on Saturday night we have live music with the Amelia Carter Band. I will be posting the beer list for the Hillsborough Hotel in the next couple of days. Looking forward to seeing faces old and new over the beer festival!

We will be hosting The Tom Killner band at the Hillsborough Hotel on Saturday 11 June, 8.30 ish, free entry. Tom will be playing the the main pub and we will be showing the England game in the fanzone aka the conservatory. Come along and enjoy the music or football together with a selection of our fine real ales.

Blind Papa Stumbling will be hosting our first Sunday afternoon Jazz & Blues session at the Hillsborough Hotel, from 3-5pm. Why not come along and enjoy the music together with one or two of our exceptional real ales and some food - perfect way to spend a Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon.

The Basement will be entertaining us on Saturday night, a five piece band playing a mixture of soul classics, Motown and northern soul! Why not come and join the fun, sampling some of our fine real ales whilst enjoying the music!
