I'm getting a new car on Tuesday (well a 63 plate but new to me) from a reputable company, I've been offered the extended warranty at £499 for an extra two years covering mechanical and electrical faults. The manufacturer warranty ends in September this year. I've had a mechanic from a reputable garage tell me to get it. I've had a manager from another reputable dealership say not to get it. Kind of stuck, any advice?

First time buyer. Need some advice
GaryJMitchel replied to GaryJMitchel's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
Hi just a few things really. Is it worth it? How does it compare to a traditional mortgage? And as a first time buyer, would I be more beneficial getting this style of mortgage or the traditional? -
I've been to look at a property today, it's a new build and will be ready in a few months. Basically wanting some advice on this help to buy: equity loan scheme. I don't fully understand it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Back in August I received a fine for speeding. Which I admitted to and paid the fine. The day I was to send off my licence to the dvla so they could put the endorsement points on. Someone hit my car which lead me to completely forgetting to send it off. 2 weeks ago I received a check through the post saying 'speeding penalty revert'. Yesterday I received a letter to attend court regarding this issue. What will happen? Can anyone give me some advice. Thank you

Kinda off the subject, but isit only me who thinks cyclists should have road insurance? Or do other believe that too. They're not above the law! What happens if a cyclist has a collision with a car and they're at fault? All damaged would have to be claimed through the drivers insurance. Wouldn't this effect their no claims?
