  1. I disagree, I think a person's background heavily influences their cooking skills I myself, for example, could not cook most traditional foods from around the around the world with anywhere near the competence of a person who was raised wholly within the culture of that particular creed. Also, since when was the use of the word ' foreigner', which appears in every English dictionary, considered racist? Your posts appear very defensive in this matter!
  2. The poster has already said it's not the Admiral and also said that someone else said they were closed for Divali - which appears to be a statement of fact but the poster may wish to substantiate this. In any event, how does that make them racist! And to be honest, your (1st ever) post with poor grammar smacks of damage limitation by someone who has a vested interest in doing so.
  3. On Plusnet at home FTTC connecting and its fine, no problems at all. Was on Sky before that and didn't have any problems with them either, only moved so I could have fibre (Sky didn't do it then).
  4. It seems (is) a lot because it's all in one go. as you say, if he's ok and the place is nice he will have no trouble reletting the property so your stuck between a rock and a hard place unfortunately.

  6. Bad earth usually shows by bulbs glowing but not flashing or as someone said other lights flashing as well. Equally if it's the relay it usually affects both sides.
  7. If its currently by aerial they must already have freeview

  9. There's a bloke done time for that near there. Was in the star a couple of times and he drives a silver car, y reg mondeo. might be worth mentioning it to the police.

  11. B&Q definitely do them, had some recently, Charcon BSP 3' x 2' x 2" they were about £7.50 each though.
  12. Kale eyed (as someone spelt it) actually comes from the Gaelic CEILIDH which is like a celebration gathering, sometimes in a public house, with music and dancing.
  13. http://www.veoliaenvironmentalservices.co.uk/Sheffield/Collections/Postcode-search/ Go there and you can put your postcode in and find out.
