May I, like many others, recommend Jeff the Joiner. He built a gate and some fencing for me this week and I am very pleased with the finished result. He produces quality work and is organised, thorough and efficient. And personable.

May I recommend AVANTE REMOVALS. They moved me from Walkley to Heeley this week. They turned up on time, were pleasant and polite, well organised and extremely helpful. Their fees were competitive. All in all, they took the stress out of the move, for which I'm grateful.

They fitted a new consumer unit at my Walkley house and, as a bonus, fixed my outside light in the pouring rain. The quote was competitive; they turned up on time; they were efficient, polite & quick. Extremely pleased with their work and would certainly use them again.

Dean of DMG Roofing and Property Repairs has been recommended on this forum. May I add my commendation. He did some roof repairs for me. He provided a thorough appraisal of what was required - with photographic evidence, was efficient, polite and skilled; and didn't seem to mind the biting cold!. Also, the price he charged seemed reasonable.

I am in S6 and have no water downstairs though, oddly, I still have cold water in the bathroom. I've turned all the heating up to max, tried gently heating pipes and am now at a loss as to what to do for the best. Hope for warmer weather I suppose.
