It was 10:15 PM and yes I had my lights on, flashing even. I was about to leave the house without the light and then I remembered and went to fetch it from upstairs. The irony. No I didn't take the guy's reg number, that was the last thing on my mind at the time. The owner of a shop nearby called the paramedics, not him. I didn't realise he wouldn't stick around until they came. Got £40 and kiss on the forehead... The most surreal experience of my life. I called 101 to report it but apparently I'd have to go to the station to make a statement and I'm just not feeling up to that, the closest police station is in town.

If I didn't anticipate correctly then the driver who didn't even look before opening the door didn't anticipate at all. I also drive, and I would never do that.

Hi all, just wondering if anybody knows if there are any cctv cameras on Abbeydale road... Some idiot opened their door into me, flew good few metres and my front wheel is ruined. Guy gave me £40 for a new wheel and drove off before the paramedic arrived, didn't leave his details or anything. This happened outside Bragazzis at around 10:15. I'm really p*ssed off and want to report it but don't have any details.

Fusion cafe is quite nice... Not strictly a veggie restaurant but their meat free stuff is nice

Was it fire crackers? I live on the bottom of Vincent road and I couldn't sleep last night, those things going off for ages. I obviously thought it was gunshots and worried myself sick.

still no collection on Vincent Road... It's been three weeks. And we're all going away for Christmas so they won't get emptied till January! Is there any point ringing them up?
