Hi, I need an external soundcard for a vst. Running superior drummer 2.0 with metal machine. Wanting to trigger my drums using a Roland td-12 and need to get the latency as low as possible. The vst is a product from Toontrack but cannot post any links for you to look at. Laptop is running with an I5 processor with 4gb ram. The soundcard is just going to be used for this so do not need to think about games films etc.

Hi, 3 weeks ago I came off my bike landing ribs first onto a kerb. A doctor looked and said nothing was broken. Didn't have an x-ray. I know nothing can be done but over the last 2 days the pain has got much worse compared to when I did it. I was hoping by now it was starting to ease off not getting worse, hurts to breath now but didn't before. Other than painkillers anything worth trying to help or is it basically shut up and put up with it? JP

Hi, Just need some information about a remortgage please. I need to get hold of another 5k but am not getting a loan out. I asked the bank about taking a further 5k out but they said I would need a LTV of over 80% and im under this. I don't know anything about a remortgage can anyone fill me in some basics? My current fixed rate finishes in 3 months so I can shop around. Going on rough estimates I have around 15% equity in my house so could I remortgage for the extra I need or does it not work like that? ( genuinely don't know) Thanks

Its doubtful the share will grow beyond £5.00 but who knows. Need someone who is good with figures to work out how many years my mortgage will reduce and the interest saved over 3 years compared to a potential profit of anything from £0 - £2000 going on past history ---------- Post added 27-10-2013 at 14:25 ---------- The scheme is set for 3 years, I can take them out at any point but if I do take them early I just get my the money I put in no matter what the share value is

Can anyone work out which of these options I will be better off. I am buying shares through work at £70 per month for the next 3 years. I get a deal which buys them fixed at £3.12 per share no matter what the actual price so I will get 807 shares for the 3 years. The deal is worse case is I get my money back if they don't make any money so £2520 or if they are more than £3.12 in 3 years I make the difference, (price at Friday was around £4.35) if it did finish around that I would make around £1000 profit for the 3 years. I need to figure out if I will be better off putting the £70 per month towards my mortgage as and reducing the time so less interest. I took it out over a long time to give me initial low payments and now have 33 years left with only £62500 left on it currently at 3.99% As there is no telling what the shares I am going to buy will finish at can anyone work out if either has a bigger financial advantage? Hi, I am considering adding a small extension to my kitchen next year, not wanting any quotes now but trying to get a general idea of the basic costs. Size is approx 4ft x11ft and just short of 9ft high, think that works out just over 4 metres square. Would need the drainage sorting but internally I can sort the fitting of the kitchen. Obviously costs/labour could be very different next year that's why I am just looking for a general idea of cost. Second to that once that is complete down the line I would add the same above to add to a bedroom. Also would i need any kind of planning permission or with it been a small extension would it not matter? Thanks

I am thinking about painting the exterior of my house as it is a god awful colour. It is a standard 3 bed semi with about 4 foot of bricks all way round at the bottom that do not need painting. It has got some sort of cladding over the rest of the house. Anyone got a rough idea the amount of paint/cost it is likely to take? I would be doing it myself so only need a rough idea of cost from anyone who has done it themselves. Thanks.
