  11. old harray gracian is braodcasting from the norton pub at meadowhead on look north, and all the local plonkers acting like idiots behind him,i think it shows sheffield up when the other reporters get no one behind them from leeds and bradford and the one in sheff has a load of drunken fools dancing around behind him.
  12. just got back from weekly shop at morrisons, hardly anyone in there, i'd say more staff than customers plenty of milk,eggs and bread left and loads of salt. We got almost all the way home and then got stuck about 300 yards from home for about 10 mins, managed to get home though
  13. my father in law always used to use winter tyres, but he found the wear and tare on the car was worse than when using normal tyres, so he switched to using snow chains

  15. Im prepared to see what happens, Maybe just the fact administration isnt hanging over the teams and managers shoulders will be a major factor in bringing the beginnings of success back to hillsborough, you never know do you, footballs a funny old game isnt it
  16. I think alan irvine has done very well and i'd like to see him given a chance, to see what he could with some tranfer funds under his belt. But Mr Manderics reputation goes before him and from his past ventures it looks like he expects success pretty quickly.
  17. Thats good news, I like Mr Pearson, i'd have liked him to manage us when he was involved with the england juniors, I used to see him on the north stand sometimes, but havnt for a while.

I read the two page article in last nights sheffield star which stated that the board agreed to accept a 20% payment for thier shares worth, the loan note holders except dave allen wont get a penny for thier loans untill and if wednesday get promotion to the premiership and dave allen gets £750k now and the other £750k when premiership football is secured.
  19. I heard mr mandaric and mr pearson didnt see eye to eye and thats why he moved on.
  20. that end of town is going to be choka block with supermarkets soon, with the morrisons, then theres the new asda being built on the old chaucer school grounds and now a sainsburys, people are going to be spoilt for choice
  21. plastercine, you get a box of brightly coloured strips, within a week its big ball of brownie coloured mess interlaced with bits of your hair, your sisters hair and bits of crap that its picked up from being dropped on the floor all the time
  22. when i was a lad it was quite affluent area, and i dont think things have altered that much to be honest
