madine may not have scored as many as beavon or wright phillips but i bet had more assists than them both, madine works tirelesly for the team and when he's not in scoring position he's helping to set them for team mates and keeping the gameplay going forward

He was only valued at £200k when when we first got him on loan, we seem to have shot ourselves in the foot, because of his fantastic form for us his value trebled, so I dont think an offer of £350k was that bad based on his value at time of first loan. MM is just trying to test the waters

I think the way they are looking at it is, why pay £450k to a club then have to offer the player wages and other fee's on top when they could probably get a player of the same stature who is at the end or almost finished his contract and use a good chunk of the £450k to pay his wages and fee's thus saving the club cash without breaking the bank
